Infinity Shoes: Online Resource for Stylish Shoes

I am lucky to work with amazing locally owned and operated boutiques for my personal shopping excursions.  I have a plethora of clothing brands and accessories to choose from for both my Roll in the Rack and The Box Service.  One resource I am often lacking in…  I have my go-to department store suggestions, but often the selection is “safe”, playing to the masses.  Insert Infinity Shoes:)

Infinity Shoes is an amazing resource for  a cool curation of designer shoes for both women and men.  Aside from some really well known brands like Frye and Minnetonka, there were some majorly fashionable and functional new discoveries for me ex. Miz Mooz and A.S.98.  Honestly, there is such a great selection it is impossible for me to highlight every pair I love.  I decided to stick with ankle boots for this particular feature.  Why?  I think they are great winter to spring transition shoe.  Wear them now with jeans and leggings tucked in…and well into the spring season with skirts and dresses.  Hope you enjoy cruising the site as much as I did…Happy Shopping:)

Teres Kids: Toddler Style and My New Camo

In 2013, I have been making an effort to bring you a little more than “thirtysomethingfashion”.  Part of that change has been showcasing my little men a bit more and sharing their fashion and style. Connor is sporting a tee from Teres Kids, a clothing line made in the USA of all organic materials helping kids stay comfortable and active.  Although the focus is making all children happy, it is an amazing resource for those children with tactile and sensory issues as the clothing is hand selected for its softness and sans itchy tags. Connor has always been pretty easygoing about clothing/fabrics but I have many friends whose children definitely complain about scratchy materials and tags.  This line is a great solution.  The tee is the softest I have touched (probably ever) but I would compare it to your favorite sorority tee that has been washed and worn for a  decade minus the stains, tears and beat up condition.  In a nutshell, the tee is extremely soft, well made and Connor loved it!  I would be leaving out the obvious if I didn’t mention my new found affection for the camo skinnies below. Thank you Sarah for sending me the link to this pair! I love the capri length, the zipper sides and adore that the fit is casual but not sloppy.  Hope you find some outfit inspiration for you and your tot!  Make it a great week:)

I am wearing: Shirt Men’s Webster for Target (old), Camo Skinnies BGD available here, Necklace c/o Zolie Designs (no longer available), Sandals Target available here, Watch c/o Invicta (no longer available), Bag Marc Jacobs (no longer available)
Connor is wearing:  Heal the Bay Tee c/o Teres Kids available here, GAP jeans, TOMS shoes

For every “Heal the Bay T-Shirt” sold, 30 percent goes back to the “Heal the Bay” organization keeping southern California coastal waters clean and safe.

Crazy for You: Boyfriends

I posted the link to my new Skinny Boyfriend Jeans on my Facebook Page yesterday.  I haven’t been this smitten with denim since the Rockstars.  I just ordered them in white too because I am crazy about them.  As I have mentioned time and time again (you are probably sick of it) I have a few lbs left to lose from Preston. I can squeeze myself into my size 28’s but it isn’t a pretty site…muffin top anyone?  So,  I am hitting the gym hard and making some small diet changes, but I am certain, doing it the healthy way will take at least another 3 to 4 months.  I want to be fashionable and comfortable up until then and these jeans serve up both of those requests. I love the slouchy fit and especially love the forgiving nature of the waist.  Reviews online say they are running large…I suppose it depends how you want them to fit.  For me, I really wanted them to look like slouchy boyfriend jeans so I ordered and am wearing a 6.  I could probably squeeze into a 4 but that is not how I wanted to wear them.  On a side note, I do not know when or how, but mint has become a neutral color for me and I am wearing it with everything like red and orange as shown below.  Hope you find some outfit inspiration and Happy Shopping!

Tshirt Old Navy available here, Skinny Boyfriends  Old Navy available here, Blazer SAVA (pre spring not available yet),  Scarf Banana Republic (old),  Clutch Deux Lux, Earrings Stella and Dot, Bangles mix of c/o Lydell and Boutique Brands, Booties TOMS (no longer available)

Down to the Wire

It’s getting down to the wire….I officially have less than 8 weeks to go until baby boy arrives into this world:) I am beyond excited, extremely anxious (understatement- I have major anxiety with this pregnancy) and just ready with a capital R.  To keep me busy….I jam packed the month ahead….working in my last round of box clients, attending two boutique openings, hosting three blog giveaways and finishing up with an amazing interior designer (entire post dedicated to this later in the month) whom I hired to do the boys rooms.  Are you exhausted yet?  Getting a ton of wear out of this Old Navy maternity maxi…it has been fun throwing tops over it and finding creative ways to style it. Cost per wear is down to pennies for sure! Hope you find some outfit inspiration:)  Amazing giveaway coming this weekend…stay tuned!!!

Cool Way to Tie a Scarf: Summer Style

I often address this on the blog… a stay at home mom MOST days, I don’t really have a need to “dress up” on the regular. I refuse to let that mean yoga pants and workout tanks. Today I have a ton of errands to run…grocery store, dry cleaners, the dreaded dental appointment….BUT I still wanted to look chic running around town. I find scarves and jewelry to be the easiest way to dress up the simplest of outfits- Ivory shirt and jeans…boring…add in colorful headscarf and statement necklace..and suddenly you feel great in what you are wearing. Let’s face it…that is what it is all about- Feeling great- no matter what the day has in store!

Shirt Nicole Miller, Headscarf Pucci, Necklace Marilyn Schiff, Earrings Stella and Dot, Jeans Riley (repurposed Levi’s) Wedges Toms

I have a pair of TOMS flats and love them so much, I recently purchased these wedges. They go with everything, are very comfortable and  it makes me feel good knowing every time I buy a pair, a child in need
gets a pair too!

If you follow along with the blog, you know I love vintage and vintage inspired jewelry- Worship this necklace that I just purchased at J Karma Boutique when I visited Philly last week.  Very reasonably priced at $48.00
