If you have flipped through a few magazines or scrolled through a few style blogs…you have definitely seen the shift from structured blazers to soft flowing cardigans and capes. I love a great blazer, as we all know….but it is nice to have such an assortment of oversized cardigans to choose from this fall. Shopping them for all of you has been SUCH fun and I can’t wait to add a few to my collection. Which one to choose? My favorites below! Happy Shopping:)
TIP: Don’t toss your blazers ladies! They are classic, chic and always provide polish and sophistication:)
Goodnight Macaroon has this oh so cozy grey shrug available HERE. I own something similar from Armani Exchange and I wear it constantly…over everything!
Nordstroms Colorblocked Cape available for purchase HERE This can literally be worn over anything and everything. Casually with jeans or even over a cocktail dress!
Sanctuary printed cardigan available from Revolve Clothing HERE.
Available for purchase from international retailer Oasap HERE. Personally, I would not do all these trends photographed above at once. This plaid look is best with jeans and booties or leather leggings and a silky blouse!
Ella Moss Cozy Cardigan available for purchase HERE. I have sold this to a few #theboxservice clients and they are all in LOVE. *this is the one I am leaning towards:)
The “sweatercoat”hybrid is back baby! I love this cream colored dream available HERE.
This may not officially be a kimono…but it is a favorite shirt of mine and definitely has the look and feel of the kimonos I have been loving so much for fall. I plan to purchase one…after all of my clients have chosen theirs…aren’t I sweet:) Ha!
Not too much to report other than insanity with work. I have one more “Roll in the Rack” scheduled for Friday, and then hoping to spend the weekend catching up on internship inquiries, box service inquiries and EMAILS! Thanks for your patience as this has been my busiest week to date:) HAPPY THURSDAY!!!
We all have one. We all love the fit. It is our fail safe when we simply “have nothing else to wear”.
Are we excited to wear it? Probably not.
Four Tips: Getting Excited for Your Little Black Dress!
1. Style your dress with killer shoes. The pair featured below (super sale by Rachel Zoe) are available locally through me, very limited sizes. If a heeled gladiator is way too trend driven for you…try leopard like HERE or even red like HERE.
2. Pile on the accessories. Typically, I keep my accessories to a minimum. Big earrings=simple necklace. Big necklace=stud earrings….But….with a simple black dress….I say pile it on, baby! Get the look via Stella and Dot HERE.
4. Grab a fantastic clutch. Fringe is kind of everything for me this fall…but whatever strikes your fancy go out and grab it! You can find fun, unique clutches everywhere these days. One featured below is HERE.
I just shared my “The Box Service” promotional video with you guys last week. Although Tanya and I spent most of the day shooting that badboy…we also squeezed in time for a late lunch at one of my favorite spots in Point Pleasant Beach, Shipwreck. Seriously the steaks almost cut themselves. It is right on the inlet…so we soaked in the sun and watched the boats roll in. I can’t say enough about how special this chica is….and I am SO lucky that we met in person. I know (even though she lives many many miles away) we will always remain in touch. Who says the blogging world is ONLY virtual?
I leave you with a few cute snapshots and then some links to “get the look”! Although some items are sold out…similar styles are available and both outfits transition fabulously into early fall! HAPPY SHOPPING!!!!
Hope everyone is enjoying the final day of summer…the weather is horrible here…humid and rainy…..probably a day of movies on the couch for us…and sometimes that is just what the doctor ordered. We had a jampacked weekend of beach, pool, Prestons 2nd birthday and than a night out on the town….I am exhausted. With a crazy work week ahead and Connor starting school Wednesday, a day of nothing is quite welcomed. On to the fashion….I LOVE leopard with white..it is so perfect for this transitional time of year. How about you? Would you pair leopard and white?
Monday Mingle time again:) The stylish collaboration between myself, BonBon Rose Girls and Momtrends. Link is over with Nicole today- be sure to pop by and join in the fun. Make it a great week!
Here in New Jersey, we are having an extremely mild August. It was downright chilly over the weekend. Gorgeous…but chilly. I wore this out to dinner and drinks the other evening. You know I love mixing my distressed boyfriends with killer heels and was elated to carry my NEW grey clutch! I hopped right on my trend forecast HERE and purchased my first grey accessory for fall……definitely not my last! Hope you find some outfit inspiration:)
The front tuck. It is not an official name…but it is the name I have given to my obsession with tucking in just the front part of my shirt. It shows off your belt, adds some shape and provides a little interest to your outfit, no? Since I love to tuck, I have decided I need to invest in a fun colorful belt. Any suggestions? I am thinking orange….you know I love orange. You may see some “pinning” and linking to fun belt options in the next few days.
I hope all of you are having a great week. I am a little frazzled……Preschool ceremonies, teacher gifts, two boxes to get together before the end of the week….and not nearly enough time to do it all! Ah!!! Back on Friday with a stylish post to inspire your weekend:)
I am back with my two favs, Kristin from BonBon Rose Girls and Jill from Glamamom for another Three Stylish Mamas collaboration. Honestly, how can you possibly talk about stylish mamas and NOT mention leggings. They are a staple for any fashionable mom on the go. Furthermore, how can you talk about leggings and NOT mention Lyssé. I am elated to be featuring my favorite legging brand today. I first discovered and blogged about them here, remember? I have added several pairs to my collection over the past few months. What I love the most is the higher rise…it really holds you in …leaving you muffin top free and completely smooth through the waistline. Yessss!!!!
How do you style leggings for Spring? Here, I kept it simple and fun with a colorful printed scarf and my favorite new gladiators. I loved the idea of a sandal to change it up from my usual suspects like moto boots. Be sure to pop by to visit my girls here and here to learn the details of their fabulous legging looks! As always, thank you for reading and Happy Shopping:)
I am totally in love with this London Times knit dress for a few reasons.
1. Forgiving on the old waistline
2. Completely comfortable for this mom on the go
3. Machine Washable
4. Easy on the wallet
5. Perfectly on trend and stylish
I was not familiar with this brand until they reached out and made an introduction. I was gifted two beautiful dresses that will be in immediate rotation in my closet. I chose styles that would be flattering for my “still have to lose ten pounds” figure and was so pleasantly surprised with how great the fit was. At three weeks post birth, I am officially back to the grind and had a boutique appointment as well as shopped for two clients yesterday. It was blissful to put on a dress and actually wear makeup!!! It’s the small things:) More on the casual side below, I paired the dress with wedges, a distressed belt and some fun gold jewelry. Of course it will be fun to style it completely different and glam it up come the next wear. Hope you find some outfit inspiration!
