Splashes of Leopard

I recently ordered a bunch of items for Connor and myself off the Old Navy site…they were running a special of 30% off, I had a promotional coupon, and free shipping…..You just couldn’t beat it. Mostly, I stocked up on undershirts and jammies for the lil man, but when I came across this full length sweater dress, I had to have it. I have also been on the prowl for a great (inexpensive) leopard skinny belt….total score at around 9 dollars:) This is my favorite kind of look- easy to pull together, comfortable and yet super chic and modern. Hope you find some outfit inspiration!

Dress Old Navy available here, Fur Vest Vintage Havana, Belt Old Navy available here, Earrings Lola’s, leather cuff Leigh Ann Barnes, Leopard Booties available here

It Started With A Dress……

I celebrated my 32nd birthday on Saturday with some of my favorite people:) Such a fun night!  My hubs and I started planning the evening a few weeks back, so naturally I started planning my outfit around the same time (I know I have a problem).  It started with this Diane Von Furstenberg dress that I saw at Bloomingdale’s on sale.  I fell in love with the color and cut- Since I have such a small bust, deep necklines seem to be complimentary.  I will definitely be able to wear this to holiday parties this fall/winter.  After the dress came the shoes, TOTAL splurge from my husband!  I am not even going to give you a song and dance that these are practical, because they are not- but mighty beautiful!!!  A few more accessories here and there- and I felt ready for the big night out.  Hope you had a great weekend, find some outfit inspiration and enjoy Columbus Day:) C

On my list……

Ok, so the shopping ban is almost lifted…just a few more days now. The problem is that it may have backfired. I have this LONG list of things I can’t WAIT to buy…so did it really prohibit me from spending? Or will it just mean I spend more in March than I ever have before. Food for thought.
Anyway..these shoes are ALL on my list…wish list that is. I most certainly can’t have them all. But a girl can dream.
