I hope all of you had a great weekend. We celebrated my neice’s 7th birthday. The weather was surprisingly chilly here at the Jersey Shore. I actually wore a jacket over this look come sundown. Although, I am SO ready for fall…maybe not until September 1st. Give us another week or so weather gods, ok? Thanks!
This outfit is super simple but I adore my accessories:) I received these sweet Linge ballet flats in the mail last week and couldn’t wait for the first opportunity to wear them. I have declared grey my “it” color for fall, and have been window shopping ever since. The sunglasses….sporting them NON stop…the color is a greyish purple and although its an odd, it seems to be working with everything. SmartBuyGlasses have an amazing selection and I am excited to cruise the site for my next stylish pair. Remember when I posted my Breakfast at Tiffany’s event to Instagram here…well, I purchased this super delicate arrow necklace/bracelet set and am smitten. Typically not a silver girl, I thought this set would layer beautifully with many of my existing pieces and of course, grey. As I always say…simple style is my favorite…. then I let the accessories do the talking:)
Welcome to #MondayMingle, the stylish collaboration between myself, BonBon Rose Girls and Momtrends. I am hosting this week so please join in the link below. Make it a GREAT WEEK:)
Shorts. I will be honest. We have a love/hate relationship. I am not confident in shorts. I have thicker thighs and feel like they aren’t super flattering on me and highlight the heaviest part of my legs. So, when I find a pair that I feel are flattering AND comfortable, I am sure to dedicate a blogpost to it. Usually a fan of bermudas, these are shorter, but the fit is really easy. I can teeter between a 4/6 at Old Navy…and these are a 6. I like that I can wear them a little lower on the hip. Loving the simple, easy style of this particular outfit. White tank, white button down, great accessories adding in a POP of color….kind of my uniform lately. Hope you find some outfit inspiration:) Happy Shopping!
Checking out later today to enjoy Memorial Day weekend with my family…..you can catch me a little on Facebook and Instagram for snippets of fashion and fun…but I am really trying to stay disconnected. I hope you all have an awesome weekend filled with juicy burgers, delicious potato salad, great company and lots of laughs- that is what I am personally striving for! For those get togethers you have planned…I hope you find some outfit inspiration below. My personal advice is keep it simple, comfortable…but stylish with some fun accessories and killer shoes! Happy Weekend:)
A friend and reader asked for suggestions on looser fitting shorts for the coming HOT summer months. She resides in my home state of Virginia, so instead of suggesting harder to find boutique brands (like I usually do) I popped by my favorite affordable online retailers. In doing so, I stumbled upon these badboys from Old Navy. Snatching them up for myself today- with a $15 price tag, I will most likely grab both colors. In true TSF fashion, I can’t just send a link…I have to style them for you too! So here you go Ann….hope they work for you!
Hi all! Hope everyone is gearing up for a fabulous weekend. My husband and I are heading to another charity event tonight so follow along on Instagram if you wish…..I will share what I am wearing and hopefully a video…the 2nd runner up of The Voice from 2013, who hails from the Jersey Shore, will be receiving and award and fingers crossed…she sings!
Not too much to say…this is my typical run around town mommy-style. I love these new Aerosoles….right on trend with a smoking slipper silhouette and perforation. The comfort is unreal, due the Aerosoles stitch’ n’ turn design technology. The photo session was shot in Asbury Park (one of my fav shore towns) by the lovely Amy of Adalie Scott Photography. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and have an awesome weekend:)

Hi all…sorry for the delay today…I had a client closet this morning and didn’t have a chance to shoot pictures until this afternoon. This is what I wore today…closet makeover, haircut for Connor and heading to happy hour for a bit! Keeping it short and sweet today…loving the “shades of blue” …navy blue paired with denim on denim…all seemed to work famously with my american scarf from this photoshoot. Also loving my new Dee Keller ballet flats…so sweet, right? Hope you find some casual weekend inspiration and HAPPY FRIDAY:)
I purchased these black chinos from Old Navy last week and have been living in loving them. They are SO easy to style with lightweight sweaters or layers. The perfect casual cool vibe I am most comfortable in…especially on days I am home with the boys..running around town. Dare I say they might be my new fall uniform? I think you will be seeing them quite often…packed into the last few weeks that one can stand exposed ankles 🙂 How about you? What is your fall uniform? Hope you find some outfit inspiration….
SO FREAKING excited to share my FIRST style post on the new site….coming at you Friday!!!!!!
I am elated that the weather has shifted a little earlier than expected and smiled when the temperature called for a lightweight sweater last night. I. LIVE. FOR. FALL. Seriously, it is my favorite time of year. I have had this faux leather mini for a while now and every time I go to wear it…it just doesn’t make the cut….only once this summer here. I love it in theory…but just never felt completely comfortable in it. Thislove sweater that I scored on super sale from Old Navy a few weeks back was the perfect match and finally made this skirt feel fun, modern and maybe even whimsical? (you might be thinking young, haha) Hey, you only live once…I decided to rock the leggy look with a whole bunch of confidence! I hope I am inspiring you to grab that item in your closet that has been passed over time and time again…and find a way to WEAR IT! Have some fun, think outside the box…I have a feeling you will be quite smitten with the result. Happy weekend to all!!!

Enjoying these last few weeks of very minimal makeup while I am still slightly tan! It fades SO quickly…..
To say it has been hot as h*ll lately would be the understatement of the century. With an average of 100 degrees and soupy humidity in the air…it was unpleasant last week to say the least. It kind of worked out for us….both boys had the croup, so I didn’t even need to figure out a way to brave the heat…we simply stayed inside and watched movies, colored and relaxed. On Sunday, a thunderstorm accompanied by some rain cooled the temperatures down to the 80’s. Normally not sweater weather, but I think in comparison to what it had been, I was actually a little chilly that evening heading to a casual dinner with the family. I recently purchased this love sweater on super sale at Old Navy. I thought it would be adorable for running around with the kids paired with skinny jeans or boyfriends. I haven’t given this maxi much love lately and since I am trying to (with a few slip ups) “work what I got” I thought it might be fun to pair these two up! What do you all think? Hope you find some outfit inspiration and Happy Shopping:)

I am feeling very fortunate lately, as all my hard work for this blog is beginning to pay off. Aside from my box service going strong, I am starting to be contacted by brands/products that really “make sense” for all of my readers and clients (for a long time I would get horribly random product pitches hence the reason you never saw them on the blog). It brings me such joy to highlight great items for you or often times give them away to you. Of course, it is also nice to get complimentary product from these brands for my own use:) A few weeks ago I was introduced to a brand called Baby Cargo. They are a newer company who made their mark with what I would call a badass umbrella stroller (honestly wish I had known about it before buying my McLaren). They are in the midst of launching The Georgi Bag. I was lucky enough to be gifted one to try out and I am SO smitten, I couldn’t wait to share with all of my mommy readers…more up close pictures and details on the bag below. This is what I wore casually for a playdate Saturday…honorable mention to my bestie who came to visit last week in the cutest TOMS suede wedges that I just had to run out and buy. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and Happy Shopping!
Boyfriend Jeans Riley, Tank M Rena, Blouse Old Navy available here, Necklace Stella and Dot no longer available, TOMS wedges available here, Georgi Diaper Bag c/o Baby Cargo and available here
Now for the “Georgi”! I love this bag and here’s why:
1. Doesn’t look like a diaper bag and can definitely be used after the lil ones aren’t so little
2. Husband said he would actually carry this diaper bag (first time ever in three years)
3. Price is right at $59.99 and looks and feels WAY more expensive.
4. Super lightweight (even with all my crap in it) so it doesn’t weigh you down.
5. Crossbody…hands free…..need I say more?
6. Comes in FOUR really great color combinations
7. Grommets that slide over umbrella stroller handles so you don’t have to carry the bag at all
8. Spacious with room for diapers, wipes, diaper cream, extra clothes and whatever else you need
9. Fabrication is easy to clean, just wipe it down with cloth and warm water
10. Super stylish and modern
Now through October 10th you can pre order the Georgi for FREE SHIPPING and NO SALES TAX! So pop over to the Baby Cargo site and see if this diaper bag is the perfect one for you. I also wanted to mention their Pinterest Contest for a chance to win fabulous prizes….Good luck!
At almost 34 weeks pregnant, I am ALL about comfort and the least restrictive fabrications. This Old Navy cotton maxi has been one of my best purchases throughout my entire pregnancy. It is the perfect backdrop for all my bright fun accessories because, let’s face it…accessories are all I am buying these days. I have been rotating the Coin 1804 vests in and out of my wardrobe on the daily….they are just the perfect stylish addition to any old dress. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and have a great rest of the week!

Featuring a look I wore last week for a day filled with shopping (for clients), a few activities with my lil guy and eventually the boardwalk (it was beautiful out). I wanted to be chic (you never know who you will run into) but comfortable. Love this tank from Target…I purchased it in 5 colors/prints and plan to wear it throughout the rest of my pregnancy. This is easily an outfit I would wear pregnant or not, I love the combo of black and mustard…such a great pair. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and Happy Shopping!

I just purchased this Cobalt Shirt at Old Navy the other day and am in love with the fit, fabric and color. Great inexpensive update to your pre spring wardrobe! Rainy and gloomy day- so I was feeling a bit “blue”. Sorry to cut it short…running late for a lunch meeting….Hope you find some outfit inspiration and have a great week:)
Shirt Old Navy available here, Jeans Level 99 similar available here, Beaded necklaces gifted, Hat San Diego Hat Co, Shoes Brian Atwood similar available here, Clutch Deux Lux
I purchased this chambray shirt a few weeks ago and have worn it countless times already. It seems to instantly “update” my seemingly boring outfits from seasons past. I highly recommend this shirt. It retails for around $25 and Old Navy is currently running a promotion that offers 30 percent off. As for the rest of this look…..I have worn the skirt and necklace combo before here and certainly wasn’t lying when I said they were great transitional pieces……worn summer OR winter and the seasons in between. Hope you find some outfit inspiration:)
Black Shirt , Chambray Shirt Old Navy, Leather Jacket Steve Madden, Skirt Nicole Miller, Belt Vintage, Boots Jeffrey Campbell, Necklace SOKO, Earrings c/o In Pink, Bag Louis Vuitton
Although this necklace was pricey, I have yet to find an outfit that it didn’t compliment. Hands down one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. Do you have any splurges that more than earn their keep?
Last time I wore THIS Old Navy dress it was Christmas time…safe to say it’s been a while. Decided to dust the shoulders off and wear it out yesterday. The only great thing about Hurricane Irene is that she literally took all of the humidity with her when she left…leaving us almost a little “chill” in the air. Felt fantastic! I quickly jumped at the opportunity to wear a longer sleeved dress, a scarf and this new fall inspired statement necklace. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and Happy Shopping!

This Tano Bag has really been my “go to” all summer long. Love the over the shoulder option…kind of wish ALL my bags had it:) Bracelet is fast becoming a favorite too…by Lia Sophia.
