This may not officially be a kimono…but it is a favorite shirt of mine and definitely has the look and feel of the kimonos I have been loving so much for fall. I plan to purchase one…after all of my clients have chosen theirs…aren’t I sweet:) Ha!
Not too much to report other than insanity with work. I have one more “Roll in the Rack” scheduled for Friday, and then hoping to spend the weekend catching up on internship inquiries, box service inquiries and EMAILS! Thanks for your patience as this has been my busiest week to date:) HAPPY THURSDAY!!!
I realize this is a slight variation of my last outfit post from Monday:) What can I say….I just have black and denim on the brain. Truth is, it is an easy effortless combination and leaves an awesome blank slate for fun colorful accessories. I plan to wear this to a babyshower on Saturday…modeling it a day early because I have no one around that morning to take photos! Think I am going to wear it exactly like this…although maybe I will skip the ponytail, and I definitely need a pedicure:) Yikes.
Denim shirt is compliments of SusieRaine and available for purchase here. LOVE the slight western influence and distressed vibe. Fit is fabulous- I am wearing a medium. Killer price over on the site today- $17! Get em while they last….I know it will sell out! Happy Shopping and hope you have an amazing weekend:)
Back again with two of my favorite bloggers, Jill of Glamamom and Kristin of Bon Bon Rose Girls to bring you a few takes on New Years Eve fashion sponsored by the awesome online brand Karen Kane. You might remember my initial introduction to the brand here…and since, I have totally become a fan. A great mix of classic vs trendy and the prices are perfect…especially right now when you can snag something on sale:) My favorite detail of the collection…90 percent of it is made in the USA!
My look was inspired by the killer moto jacket they sent….I would most definitely wear this look to a house party or wine tasting with friends to ring in the New Year. I can totally see Jills fabulous dress taking her to a beautiful candlelit dinner with her man and lastly I can see Kristin fistpumping (ok, that might just be a Jersey thing) the night away in that lightweight sleeveless blouse. Three different scenes but all super fashionable, no? Which is your fav? Hop by their blogs here and here to see how they styled their looks more closely. Thank you for tuning into Three Stylish Mamas…we hope to bring you loads of fashion, style ideas and some giveaways in the New Year ahead! HAPPY WEEKEND TO ALL!
As you know from prior posts herehere and here I adore London Times dresses. The price point, quality, fit and wearability are just perfection. If you are in the market for a new dress visit the site…they have a bunch of cute dresses on super sale here. I spied this metallic number a few weeks ago and knew it would be perfect for the upcoming holiday season. I decided to hit the tracks and do a little photo session with the lovely Amy of Adalie Scott Photography. She always has unique location ideas and the photos turn out beautiful.
So, how was your weekend? Did you spend it shopping the deals and steals? I spent most of the weekend relaxing and focused on family. I did manage to get out to a favorite boutique or two on Small Business Saturday- how could I not support? Busy week ahead…boxes to pack for clients, gifts to wrap, preparation for my big event Thursday (learn more here), and the list goes on. Happy Monday to all and last chance to enter my giveaway below!
When the company Tailor4Less reached out to see if I wanted to partner with them, I was totally game. They have a great selection of custom suits for both men and women but what really grabbed my attention were their womens shirts. I have had a crush on the plaid button down trend for some time, so this was the perfect opportunity to try it out. What was really cool about this brand is the customization. Once you decide on the style and print for your shirt (mine is the boyfriend in Rainswood) the site takes you through entering your specific measurements. For me, this was a fantastic feature. Ever since having my lil ones, I like shirts to hit on the longer side…I was able to add a few inches to my torso length to ensure that it would hit where I wanted it to. As you know, I never feature anything I don’t love here on the site…and I was super happy with my blouse. Infact, with a very reasonable $49 price tag, I am planning to order a few in lighter prints for the Spring. Distressed jeans and a fabulous button down anyone? For now, I will stick with my leather skinnies….Hope you find some outfit inspiration, Happy Shopping and hope you and yours have a fantastic New Years!!
Plaid Button Down c/o available here, Leather Leggings Nicole Miller (old), Fur Vest Love Token (no longer available), Earrings D. Monaco Boutique, Watch Rolex, Bracelet Cartier, Shoes Christian Louboutin
I am literally barefoot and pregnant in this outfit post:) For those who don’t follow FB….I broke a bone in my right foot and am in a walking boot for the next 8 weeks. Not super convenient considering I am pregnant, have a 2 year old to look after and a thriving new business….somehow I will manage! Looking at the positive…I can take it on and off…hence the barefoot photo shoot:) I am heading to meet a friend for dinner (been on foot house arrest for the past week) and can’t wait to break free!!! I wanted to cover my ugly boot as best I could, so I turned to the good old maxi dress. It is a beautiful night here at the Jersey Shore.. I threw a beautiful silk blouse over top and am good to go. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and don’t forget to enter the giveaway below!!

I purchased this chambray shirt a few weeks ago and have worn it countless times already. It seems to instantly “update” my seemingly boring outfits from seasons past. I highly recommend this shirt. It retails for around $25 and Old Navy is currently running a promotion that offers 30 percent off. As for the rest of this look…..I have worn the skirt and necklace combo before here and certainly wasn’t lying when I said they were great transitional pieces……worn summer OR winter and the seasons in between. Hope you find some outfit inspiration:)
Black Shirt , Chambray Shirt Old Navy, Leather Jacket Steve Madden, Skirt Nicole Miller, Belt Vintage, Boots Jeffrey Campbell, Necklace SOKO, Earrings c/o In Pink, Bag Louis Vuitton
Although this necklace was pricey, I have yet to find an outfit that it didn’t compliment. Hands down one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. Do you have any splurges that more than earn their keep?
To say this has been a busy week would be the understatement of the century. I have had six new clients to shop for and also preparing to host about 20 people at my house for Connor’s 2nd birthday (which I can’t believe I am planning and am in complete denial that my baby is turning 2). Thought I would share this outfit from the week….Loved the idea of layering two collared shirts on top of one another….this little polka dot number is a favorite of mine…it is sleeveless so I wasn’t sure how I would bring it into the cooler weather…I think I found a way. Hope you find some outfit inspiration:)
Tank MRena, Polka Dot Shirt Lush, Denim Shirt Old Navy, Belt Vintage via El Vintage, Skirt Nicole Miller, Clutch Louis Vuitton, Shoes Stuart Weitzman, Necklace Gift, Bracelets mix of Lia Sophia and David Yurman
Polka Dot shirt is available for purchase, $55 retail plus shipping. Sizes Small through Large. Contact with interest at email@example.com
I purchased this anklet at a Lia Sophia party. Loved the sweet little heart, and I lost my favorite anklet a while back and had yet to replace it. Do you wear anklets? I wear them from time to time…not everyday.
Last night I attended the Philadelphia Style Cover Party hosted at The Palm. This event kicked off The Philadelphia Collection 2011 and the series of fashion happenings in and around the great city of Philadelphia from September 12th through the 24th. With the guest of honor being world renowned fashion designer Nicole Miller, this event was NOT going to disappoint. If you follow along with me, you know she is hands down my favorite designer. I especially wanted to chat her up about how amazing her upcoming Spring Collection looked. Click here to check it out. Hope you enjoy my snapshots from the event….I was having TOO good of a time and wasn’t focused on photos, so not my best work, I apologize. Truly a wonderful evening filled with old friends and clients…and what is a party without some bubbly? Which I had far too much of, by the way. All for now.
Dress Nicole Miller, Necklace Vintage, Earrings Stella and Dot, Bracelets combo of David Yurman Lia Sophia and Marilyn Schiff, Booties Jeffrey Campbell
Some of my favorite clients from when I worked full time at the Nicole Miller Brand. Great catching up with these beautiful women!
One of my favorite old coworkers, Stacey….looking amazing in a Nicole Miller jumpsuit.

Don’t forget to follow The Philadelphia Collection on twitter here or on Facebook here for the latest news and information. Hope to see you at some of the events this week!
This Nicole Miller tie dyed shirt is a favorite for sure. I purchased it a while back and have featured it here on the blog before. I love that it can be worn in the dead of the winter or be the perfect summer look. Random thought…..fellow momma’s….anyone else realize they change their accessories based on their kiddies? I didn’t wear bangles/bracelets/long necklaces (except on special occasion) for the longest time because I was constantly picking Connor up and it was really uncomfortable. Now that he is reaching two….I am piling on the accessories like never before…. he is consistently running away from me (yes I am that woman chasing her child in the grocery store) and doesn’t want to be held 🙁 So although it is bittersweet that my lil baby is becoming a BIG BOY…I will relish in the fact that I can now have an arm party!
Shirt and Scarf Nicole Miller, White Skinnies by Yoga Jeans, Necklace Marilyn Schiff, Bracelets David Yurman and Marilyn Schiff, Leather Cuffs Leigh Ann Barnes, Shoes Miu Miu, Clutch Louis Vuitton
I love finding new and creative ways to wear my collection of scarves. I hate for them to just sit in my closet and collect dust. I often will tie them to the strap(s) of my bag. No strap on a clutch…no problem! As shown above, I simply tied it around the open/close flap……really adds a fun look to a classic bag.
If I can give any bit of style advice today…..it would be to start investing your wardrobe dollars in transitional pieces. What I love about this Nicole Miller Maxi is it can be worn RIGHT NOW with a cute little t-shirt or tank as seen below OR it can easily take me into fall…..Picture a big cozy black sweater and some over the knee boots. This thought process isn’t exclusive to clothing either….your accessories should fit the requirements as well. I loved sporting my new Soko necklace and the mixed metals will definitely work come fall. By NO means am I saying that you shouldn’t continue to wear your beautiful summer dresses and turquoise earrings….just that you should try not to buy anything additional this late in the season. So, when you arrive at the boutique counter, clothes in hand….think to yourself, “can I make this work come October”?…..I promise your wallet will thank me come fall. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and have a great week:)
Maxi Skirt and Shirt Nicole Miller, Necklace Soko and South Moon Under, Earrings c/o IN PINK, Bracelets David Yurman and Marilyn Schiff, Watch Rolex Shoes TOMS
Got this amazing necklace at a boutique in North Jersey, Para L’elle. Isn’t it amazing- by a “new to me” designer- Soko
I often address this on the blog…..as a stay at home mom MOST days, I don’t really have a need to “dress up” on the regular. I refuse to let that mean yoga pants and workout tanks. Today I have a ton of errands to run…grocery store, dry cleaners, the dreaded dental appointment….BUT I still wanted to look chic running around town. I find scarves and jewelry to be the easiest way to dress up the simplest of outfits- Ivory shirt and jeans…boring…add in colorful headscarf and statement necklace..and suddenly you feel great in what you are wearing. Let’s face it…that is what it is all about- Feeling great- no matter what the day has in store!
Shirt Nicole Miller, Headscarf Pucci, Necklace Marilyn Schiff, Earrings Stella and Dot, Jeans Riley (repurposed Levi’s) Wedges Toms
I have a pair of TOMS flats and love them so much, I recently purchased these wedges. They go with everything, are very comfortable and it makes me feel good knowing every time I buy a pair, a child in need gets a pair too!
If you follow along with the blog, you know I love vintage and vintage inspired jewelry- Worship this necklace that I just purchased at J Karma Boutique when I visited Philly last week. Very reasonably priced at $48.00
One of my closest friends was showered with love this weekend for her upcoming nuptials:) She is also one of my longest and most devoted clients (she is the one who really pushed me to start my own thing) LOVE THIS GIRL! When I happened along this Nicole Miller I KNEW it was the perfect shower outfit- Creamy off white playing on the idea of a bridal gown but the sexy fit- meant to be. I sent her the outfit- she loved it-fit like a glove- the rest is history.
Lately I have been a BIG fan of black and white and although we could have sweetened the look with some pink/beige shoes and accessories…it felt kind of “expected” so we opted for black patent pumps and a funky heavy necklace to play on the exposed zipper detail. It is TOO easy making her look gorgeous. Hope you find some outfit inspiration!
Although it looks like a dress, this Nicole Miller stunner is actually TWO pieces- So she can re wear the skirt and top separately all summer long.
Kelley (the bride to be) also came to me with a request for shower hostess gifts for the girls planning the shower- We brainstormed a bit, she gave me her budget and than I hit the streets looking for something that fit the bill. She wanted something that was the “same” but individual and unique to each girl/personality. I came up with an idea for Big Buddha handbags…they are vegan environmentally friendly and fabulously fashionable bags. They come in a plethora of shapes, sizes and designs so we collaborated and picked them one by one. All the girls, Kelley and myself posing with their NEW bags. I think they were a HIT!!!
I was also in charge of decor for this shower. I knew I wanted an organic and natural look to go with her furniture and warm color palette of her beautiful home. She is definitely NOT a balloons and streamers type girl. I wanted guests to think her home looked like this all the time and not really be sure if it was decorated or not- BUT still wanted it to look great. I turned to a few of my favorite thrift/vintage boutiques here at the shore (thanks to Eleanor) and found some really amazing items.
So I found all these old coke bottles, jars and glass containers. Cleaned them out and had some really cool decor that looked simple, clean and fresh.
I always love personalizing events with photos of the guest of honor- Adds a very special touch.
How cute are THESE? Can’t take credit here…One of the other hostesses had this idea- but SO cute I had to share.
I also found items like this beautiful vintage tablecloth…how gorgeous is that! Oh and the yummy food deserves a mention:)
A little later in the day we lit tons of candles, enjoyed wine and just had SUCH a great time outdoors. Sad to leave these ladies and can’t wait to see them all again soon.
Hope you found some inspiration from this post and have a great week:)
So I am working on a fashion show in Philadelphia and whenever I head into the city I like to look my best. Wore my new SAVA wide leg pants and my old trusted Nicole Miller fur trimmed sweater. Mostly, I wanted to share my new accessory….from Happy Hanky – I know you are probably thinking, “why is she so excited about a hanky”? Well when you see the outfit post I think you will agree, this is NOT your grandmothers handkerchief. I have posted about this amazing Handkerchief line before HERE and am still as smitten as I used to be. Obviously I am not using it in the traditional sense, but how great does it look tied around my wrist. This Damask Print Hanky is so fashionable and really MADE my outfit. But beyond being fashionable these hankies are the PERFECT baby shower, bridal shower, bridal party, or special occasion gift. I personally love this Something Blue Hanky for a bride to be:) So stop by the site…the owner Colleen is the sweetest thing and is SO talented! Hope you find some inspiration and Happy Shopping!

I really am sticking to my guns and haven’t made any purchases since sharing my shopping ban (except for one teeny weeny little relapse) with all of you about a month ago. I have been to a few boutiques, Old Navy and EVEN Target and have resisted them all. Aren’t you proud? It really is so hard and has been quite an awakening. I have realized how much I purchase for myself weekly…..and NOT out of necessity.
Anyway, don’t feel too sorry for me. Although I am currently prohibited from buying anything new, I hit the after holiday sales pretty hard and have enough “new” to last me until the shopping ban is lifted in March. Thank Goodness:)
It is my brother in laws birthday over the weekend. Nothing crazy, just an early dinner with family. My usual “comfortable chic” is the attire. The tunic is from prefall Nicole Miller but both the sweatercoat and cargos were purchased around the holidays. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and have a great weekend:)
Silk Tunic Nicole Miller, Black Sweatercoat Joseph Ribkoff, Silk Cargos RD Style, Sandals Christian Dior, Bag Lust 4 Luxe
Earrings from Lolas Boutique….Love how they combine gold and silver. I love mixing metals. Available for purchase. SOLD
Beautiful Christian Dior shoes. These are THE most comfortable heels I own. My loubs are a close second, but Dior makes a really great shoe as well.
