East West Mamas: A T-Shirt Collaboration and Coin 1804 GIVEAWAY!

So sorry for not bringing you East West Mamas last month….Tanya was whisked away to Paris by her husband (so freaking amazing) and it was just too hectic trying to get it together.  Here we are in July with an amazing feature and giveaway sponsored by Coin 1804.  You might remember me sporting a few of their items last summer super preggers like here and here.  I really love their casual vibe and find their tees and layering pieces to be both on trend and affordable.  I have decided I am obsessed with this top for early fall and it will most likely be mine.  So pop over to November Grey to see how she is sporting her tee ..looking amazing in that all white ensemble, right?  She is also hosting her OWN GIVEAWAY…so don’t miss out.  Hope you find some outfit inspiration and enter my giveaway below.  Make it a great week!!!

Memorial Stripes

The weather was ALL over the map this weekend at the Jersey Shore. It started rainy and cold on Saturday, cleared up to sunny and windy on Sunday….then the most beautiful day you could possibly dream up arrived on Monday…how fitting to honor those who serve and protect our freedom each and every day.  We entertained family, went to a bbq, out for drinks with a few friends and then Sunday we were poolside for most of the day. It was a nice and relaxing weekend…just what the doctor ordered:) Crazy to think last Memorial Day I looked like this, obviously I didn’t reinvent the wheel too much in my blue and white stripes with a navy vest…hey, when it works..it works!  My newest mommy fashion obsession?  Bermuda shorts!  What has taken me so long to jump on this bandwagon?  I find them super flattering, comfortable and way more appropriate for chasing after my kiddies (short shorts will no longer do for me).  Hope you find some outfit inspiration and don’t forget to enter the giveaway below🙂

Striped Top Target (old), Boyfriend Button Down Gap available here, Bermuda Short Miss Me available through my box service, Necklace c/o Zolie Designs,Bracelets Cartier and Handmade, Bag Marc Jacobs (no longer available), Wedges Stuart Weitzman

Multi Tasking In Red

As I mentioned, I am back to “box services”and clients.  Since I work for myself, with no office to report to, my attire can be as casual or dressy as my mood.  Lately I have had a hard time, due to my 4 week post preggo body:(  Dressing can be challenging…I am too thin through the middle for my maternity wear (did you see the size of my bump, yikes) and yet not svelte enough for my pre- pregnancy wear.  I took the plunge and bought a new pair of jeans in a size I need not mention on this blog…..Something to get me through the next month or two, until I can shed the extra poundage. I went with “red” because it just seems to go with EVERYTHING.  I throw a pair of red jeans into every client box….they are truly as easy to wear as actual denim shades.  Navy, Chambray, Ivory, White, Pinstripes, Leopard…Seriously what doesn’t go with red jeans these days? Hope you find some outfit inspiration and have a great weekend!

Probably my most worn boots in my entire closet. I have had these Frye “Billy” for years and they just get better with age.

My mother in law got him this fun slide, and he didn’t leave it ALL day.

Mind the Gap

So if you haven’t looked online at the “Gap” in a while, you should take a look. Loving their fall lookbook- Very preppy chic with a little bit of bohemian inspiration. I am looking forward to recreating some of these looks- mostly by closet diving, but maybe a new piece here or there 🙂
A few of my favorite pieces are highlighted above:
First the Cascade Ruffle Blouse for 59.50. Perfect for summer nights now with shorts or a skirt and will take you through the fall with a black turtleneck underneath OR a great jeanjacket or cozy sweater overtop.
Second the Boyfriend Blouse on sale for 45.oo dollars this top needs no explanations-it can go anywhere and is SO comfortable.
Third the Chambray Demin Tunic- Much to my pleasure (considering the dozens of leggings I bought last season) the tunic is back and better then ever. Great price at 59.50- Will look amazing with ANY color legging and with layering peices.
Last but not least I am digging the Corduroy Trimmed Utility Jacket for 89.50- Loving the army green color to break up all the black, grey and tan I have for fall.
Happy Shopping!

They have arrived!

So exciting…..my Jeffrey Campbell boots were waiting on my front porch when I got home yesterday 🙂 Slipped those suckers right on, fit like a glove! Perfection!
As promised, I took some shots of a pre fall look and a way to wear the boots NOW. I really enjoyed diving into my closet to find this look- I felt very victorian badass in those boots and if I dare say, I think I have gotten some pre pregnancy mojo back!
