Hope all of you had an amazing weekend. We had a beautiful couple days…the weather was just gorgeous here at the Jersey Shore. I had a photo session with my boys at the Boardwalk Friday…a great poolday Saturday…and then a beautiful day at Eagle Oaks for Fathers Day. Decided to sport this London Times floral dress. I will admit, I don’t wear florals often….I am not super girlie in my personal style….but sometimes you just want to wear a pretty dress. I have blogged numerous times about this brand..like here and here…..great fit, affordable pricetag…whats not to love? London Times always delivers.
Do you wear florals? How would you style this dress? I kept it simple with a cool peep toe and some fun jewelry. Hope your week is off to a great start! Don’t forget to check out my #MondayMingle friends Kristin from BonBon Rose Girls and Nicole from Momtrends…always super stylish:) Kristin is hosting. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and make it a great week:)
As you know from prior posts herehere and here I adore London Times dresses. The price point, quality, fit and wearability are just perfection. If you are in the market for a new dress visit the site…they have a bunch of cute dresses on super sale here. I spied this metallic number a few weeks ago and knew it would be perfect for the upcoming holiday season. I decided to hit the tracks and do a little photo session with the lovely Amy of Adalie Scott Photography. She always has unique location ideas and the photos turn out beautiful.
So, how was your weekend? Did you spend it shopping the deals and steals? I spent most of the weekend relaxing and focused on family. I did manage to get out to a favorite boutique or two on Small Business Saturday- how could I not support? Busy week ahead…boxes to pack for clients, gifts to wrap, preparation for my big event Thursday (learn more here), and the list goes on. Happy Monday to all and last chance to enter my giveaway below!
The sun was shining, the weather was incredible and my family and friends gathered at St Peters Church in Point Pleasant to celebrate my nieces christening day. My husband and I are both lucky and honored to have been chosen as the godparents to sweet baby Skylar. It was a beautiful afternoon….as we celebrated back at my sisters home…I excused myself from the festivities for a few quick moments and took some photos of the beautiful London Times dress I was gifted a few weeks ago. I have reviewed the dresses before and will say it again…the fit and comfort is just SO perfect for me. I also love that most styles work for day and evening and the length is just a smidge longer…which is so appropriate for this thirty-something chasing after the kiddies. Layered with my favorite Rachel Zoe leather vest…because this fall it is ALL about the layers, no? Hope you find some outfit inspiration and make it a great week:)
* Special promotion over on the London Times site…now through Tuesday use code CDW13 for 20 percent off in honor of Columbus Day! Happy Shopping!
Dress c/o London Times available here, Necklace Jan Micheals (old), Vest Rachel Zoe Collection (last season), Bracelet Cartier, Watch Rolex, Shoes Jimmy Choo
* Using my Bobbi Brown palette that I reviewed here. I will seriously never stop buying this shadow now. Trumps the Christian Dior shades I have used in the past.
This London Times dress gifted to me last fall is truly one of my favorite casual dresses. I have worn it to showers, family parties and apparently down by the boat docks:) Seriously though…the fit, comfort and style are just so wearable. A close second in the favorites category are these Frye boots. I have had them for about eight years and NEVER tire of them. The older and more beat up they get, the better they look. I have decided I don’t wear them nearly enough…so you might see a little resurgence on the blog this fall. Although I love the new “bootie” trend, there is something timeless about dresses and tall boots…always in style. Don’t you think? Hope you find some outfit inspiration and Happy Monday!

As part of the #SavvySummer campaign with one of my favorite dress brands, London Times I am sharing my city summer tips as well as highlighting this beautiful peplum styled dress below. As usual it fit like a glove and I loved wearing it! Took my peplum’d self to the boardwalk for this photo shoot…hopefully inspiring some of you to come and visit the beautiful Jersey Shore this summer. My city #savvysummer tip is to make memories with your families. As a child, I have the most wonderful memories of visiting my grandparents at the Jersey Shore and now that I live here full time with my family, I am committed to making those same special memories. My three year old Connor loves The Aquarium so we will definitely pop in there a few times and of course he loves the amusement rides (he told me to tell you specifically the crazy bus or “azzy bus”). As you know, superstorm Sandy really rocked our community to the core. Families were left homeless, business were flooded and shut down overnight and there is major destruction everywhere. Rebuilding has been hard and is still a work in progress but make no mistake…the shore is OPEN FOR BUSINESS this summer, so if you live close by, come visit and make some memories!
Make sure you pop by and visit my other stylish #SavvySummer friends here AND did I mention you can enter to win 1,000!!!! Yes, I just said ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! Good luck!
Oh, also…if you love the dress I am wearing it is available here and use code TSF20 for twenty percent off!!! The code is good on ANY of their items like this dress that I plan to wear again for the 4th of July, so definitely take advantage:)
Dress c/o London Times available here, Fedora Lola’s Boutique (old), Earrings Marcia Moran (old), Bangles c/o Lydell NYC, Sandals Miu Miu (old)
I would be leaving out a huge part of Point Pleasant if I didn’t make mention of the businesses off the boardwalk too. About a mile in from the beach, downtown Point is filled with amazing shops and restaurants owned by local residents and Jersey Shore lovers. For womens fashion, my personal favorites are Lola’s Boutique, D.Monaco Designs and Turquoise (I use them for my box and roll in the rack services). For my boys, I love Sarah Kiddles and for good eats I love 709 and The Coal House. Happy to share some more favorites if you are ever coming to town and want recommendations:)
If you follow on Instagram you saw a sneak peek of this dress and the mess of pearls I paired with it on Mothers Day. I love easy to wear, throw on and go type dresses for summer and this London Times dress is just that. I wanted to be sure to showcase the dress soon giving readers enough time to snatch it up…because it is so positively perfect for Memorial Day weekend, right? If there is a chill in the air (like there was Sunday) a cute little jacket works perfectly…but I really can’t wait until its warm enough to wear on its own with some easy flat sandals. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and stay tuned for a really cool online retail introduction later in the week:)

Obviously I adore London Times from my features here, here and here. Their dresses are made for my body type and the fit is so impeccable, I often wonder how they do it for under $80 a dress. Particularly smitten with the dress featured…love the classic cut and the missoni inspired print. I could probably stand a bit of a tan before wearing it again….it is perfect for a baby shower I am attending in a few weeks. Forgive, I am off topic. I recently modeled in a show for my favorite Philadelphia brand, SAVA (waiting onprofessional photos to share). I wore a few looks but the one that really grabbed my attention was a form fitting white dress with two side panels in black (will link to it once available). I donned it the “Little Black and White Dress”. Both versatile and on trend, this is an absolute must have for any fashionista in spring 2013. Below, I am sporting my very own gifted to me by London Times a few months back. At the time, I loved the dress because it is classic and timeless…..I couldn’t have predicted the explosion of the “Black and White” for Spring. I decided to pair mine with fun bright (shocker orange) accessories to give it a fresh perspective…Hope you find some outfit inspiration:) The dress below is available in limited sizing here but I have linked to many a beautiful black and white dress……I think you will find options to flatter all body types, aesthetics and budgets. Happy Shopping!

Totally Splurge Worthy:
This Trina Turk is gorgeous and worth the splurge.
This Missoni is a slight obsession of mine right now.
This DVF is beyond and I love the little piping details in black.
Middle of the Road:
This Ann Taylor Sheath is available through size 18 as well as in Petite.
This Micheal Kors option is really soft and feminine.
This Suzi Chin dress is extremely similar to the one I am wearing above.
Budget Conscious: This one from Kohls is very spring inspired with the floral details.
This BB Dakota is so very sweet.
This Limited dress is such an inexpensive and easy way to wear this trend.
Don’t see anything you love…Pop by your favorite retailer and I am certain they are doing a version of a black and white dress!
Posting consistently for almost three years definitely requires commitment and dedication, but beyond that sometimes it requires a little recharge. So I thought long and hard about what might inspire me in 2013…….collaborating with one of my favorite bloggers just might do the trick!
It is with much pleasure that I introduce the beautiful and talented Tanya of November Grey. I was drawn to her blog (3 years ago) because she is everything I am not….an artsy super thrifter living in California. I am inspired by people who are different than me….but we are both personal stylists and retail junkies…so there was kismet. A little secret that she doesn’t even know… I wear red lipstick because of her blog….She wears it so beautifully, I decided to try it about two years ago…I wear it all the time now. So thank you Ms. Tanya for giving my lips a much needed makeover:) A little over a year ago, we discovered that we were both pregnant (with boys) due within days of each other. We most definitely connected and have sent countless emails of encouragement and friendship. OK, enough of my lady crush….now to the FASHION!
Each month, Tanya and I are going to bring you a fun collaboration…sometimes a brand/sponsor highlight and other times we might shop our closets together….More fun ideas to come….This month we were both gifted the most fabulous shift dress from London Times to style each our own way. I love that we both piled on outerwear, but in a totally different way…Hop over to Tanya’s Blog to see her additional shots of the dress and style details. Linking up as I usually do with lots of lovely fashionable ladies for Monday Mingle!
I am totally in love with this London Times knit dress for a few reasons.
1. Forgiving on the old waistline
2. Completely comfortable for this mom on the go
3. Machine Washable
4. Easy on the wallet
5. Perfectly on trend and stylish
I was not familiar with this brand until they reached out and made an introduction. I was gifted two beautiful dresses that will be in immediate rotation in my closet. I chose styles that would be flattering for my “still have to lose ten pounds” figure and was so pleasantly surprised with how great the fit was. At three weeks post birth, I am officially back to the grind and had a boutique appointment as well as shopped for two clients yesterday. It was blissful to put on a dress and actually wear makeup!!! It’s the small things:) More on the casual side below, I paired the dress with wedges, a distressed belt and some fun gold jewelry. Of course it will be fun to style it completely different and glam it up come the next wear. Hope you find some outfit inspiration!
