I would hardly say I am a country girl, I was born in New Jersey, raised right outside of Washington DC and spent most of my twenties in Philadelphia. I did however have a four year stint at Elon College University….which might be where I picked up my adoration for cowboy boots and the over use of the word ya’ll. It just rolls of the tongue, what can I say?
This yellow blazer is probably one of my best purchases from Piperlime super sale. I got it about a year ago…and have found ways to style it winter, spring, summer and now again this fall. Do you have a piece that works this hard in your wardrobe? I think it is the classic style but unique color that keep me grabbing it time and time again. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and make it a great week!
I love everything about this Gentle Fawn skirt. The soft feminine lines, the longer in back hemline, and the beautiful floral print. Lately I have been wearing a light airy wardrobe infused with chunky boots to give that “September” edge. I enjoy nothing more than rocking a great skirt with a great pair of boots. You have probably seen these boots featured many times before…..I wear them to death..particularly in early fall. I purchased them when I got married (that is almost 6 years ago) and I don’t know about you..but I RARELY keep shoes for that long. Frye’s are worth the investment, enough said. They no longer carry mine featured below but clickhere for a similar style. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and be sure to check back early next week! I will be featuring photos from the kick off events of The Philadelphia Collection 2011.

A day filled with running errands and popping in on a few friends so I wanted to be comfortable but cute. This outfit came together really easily….one of my favorite shirt dresses, with one of my favorite sweaters over top. No new purchases for this post. Felt preppy, but it felt good so I went with it. Hope you are inspired…Enjoy!
Shirtdress, Quicksilver- Sweater, Banana Republic – Belt, Nicole Miller
One of my favorite gifts from my husband. When I got promoted at work, he surprised me with this Louis Vuitton bag. It is an amazing piece and is a great briefcase, travel bag and handbag. I have never seen anyone else carrying it…which makes it extra special to me!
These Frye boots were purchased from Bloomingdales over 5 years ago. They look better today then they did when I bought them- And they are SO comfortable- must be something about the stacked heel….who knows but they are the BEST boots and I am thankful I own them 🙂
Wanted to share my birthday gift from all my favorite girls at Nicole Miller….the fabulous and funky frye boots featured below! Oh how I love these shoes! I got them Friday and simply couldn’t wait and wore them Saturday. Hubby, Connor and I went to the Italian festival on the boardwalk (weather was gorgeous) and this is what I wore. Enjoy the pics and Happy Shopping!
