Hope all of you had an amazing weekend. We had a beautiful couple days…the weather was just gorgeous here at the Jersey Shore. I had a photo session with my boys at the Boardwalk Friday…a great poolday Saturday…and then a beautiful day at Eagle Oaks for Fathers Day. Decided to sport this London Times floral dress. I will admit, I don’t wear florals often….I am not super girlie in my personal style….but sometimes you just want to wear a pretty dress. I have blogged numerous times about this brand..like here and here…..great fit, affordable pricetag…whats not to love? London Times always delivers.
Do you wear florals? How would you style this dress? I kept it simple with a cool peep toe and some fun jewelry. Hope your week is off to a great start! Don’t forget to check out my #MondayMingle friends Kristin from BonBon Rose Girls and Nicole from Momtrends…always super stylish:) Kristin is hosting. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and make it a great week:)
The sun was shining, the weather was incredible and my family and friends gathered at St Peters Church in Point Pleasant to celebrate my nieces christening day. My husband and I are both lucky and honored to have been chosen as the godparents to sweet baby Skylar. It was a beautiful afternoon….as we celebrated back at my sisters home…I excused myself from the festivities for a few quick moments and took some photos of the beautiful London Times dress I was gifted a few weeks ago. I have reviewed the dresses before and will say it again…the fit and comfort is just SO perfect for me. I also love that most styles work for day and evening and the length is just a smidge longer…which is so appropriate for this thirty-something chasing after the kiddies. Layered with my favorite Rachel Zoe leather vest…because this fall it is ALL about the layers, no? Hope you find some outfit inspiration and make it a great week:)

Posting consistently for almost three years definitely requires commitment and dedication, but beyond that sometimes it requires a little recharge. So I thought long and hard about what might inspire me in 2013…….collaborating with one of my favorite bloggers just might do the trick!
It is with much pleasure that I introduce the beautiful and talented Tanya of November Grey. I was drawn to her blog (3 years ago) because she is everything I am not….an artsy super thrifter living in California. I am inspired by people who are different than me….but we are both personal stylists and retail junkies…so there was kismet. A little secret that she doesn’t even know… I wear red lipstick because of her blog….She wears it so beautifully, I decided to try it about two years ago…I wear it all the time now. So thank you Ms. Tanya for giving my lips a much needed makeover:) A little over a year ago, we discovered that we were both pregnant (with boys) due within days of each other. We most definitely connected and have sent countless emails of encouragement and friendship. OK, enough of my lady crush….now to the FASHION!
Each month, Tanya and I are going to bring you a fun collaboration…sometimes a brand/sponsor highlight and other times we might shop our closets together….More fun ideas to come….This month we were both gifted the most fabulous shift dress from London Times to style each our own way. I love that we both piled on outerwear, but in a totally different way…Hop over to Tanya’s Blog to see her additional shots of the dress and style details. I spent a good part of the day week on house arrest due to potty training the computer looking at pretty fall dresses that I can hopefully wear come my 33rd birthday in October. My husband and I couldn’t get away for a babymoon this time around, so we have planned a fun night out with a bunch of friends in Atlantic City. It will be my first night out after lil Preston arrives and I am already dreaming about what I will wear. What? You don’t plan your outfit 10 weeks in advance? Apparently I do. I have a little love list started below…all of them by my FAV newbie, Erin by Erin Fetherston. Her dresses are the perfect mix of sexy and demure and speak pretty clearly to my personal style.
This ivory number is simply stunning…although it does remind me of this dress a bit, so maybe I don’t need a look alike. I adore the one shoulder though…super sexy!!!
This sheer sleeved beauty is to DIE for. I love that this is all about the legs- which tend to shape up much faster than the “middle” after birth. This could be a major contender come October.
If the weight is NOT dropping off….a babydoll style like this pleated dress could be comfortable and super chic all at the same time. Already thinking of all the amazing accessories I could pile on with this simple dress.
Hello amazing mixture of black and navy! Adoring everything about this shift dress but might be the toughest “fit” of them all post pregnancy.
I realize her dresses are on the pricier side. When I decide to press purchase I am calling it a birthday “splurge” but no fear if you don’t have a bday excuse…..these Erin Fetherston’s are on SALE at some major retailers and equally as fabulous. Click here, here, here, here, or here. If sizing is too limited and you are REALLY loving her designs as much as I am…you can also “rent” her dresses from Rent The Runway.
