I have been talking about adding a tuxedo styled blazer into my wardrobe for months….and just never found the right one. I wanted quality so it could remain for a few seasons, but I didn’t want to spend a small fortune. When this Aryn K piece arrived last week to the stores I work with….I immediately snatched one up for myself…and then added it to two of my The Box Service clients. At $105 it was the perfect price point and Aryn K is a favorite boutique brand of mine. Win, win and win! Hope they love it as much as I do. This will be a repeat offender here on the blog this Spring! Have a fantastic Monday:)
* A great big thank you to all the friends family and clients who attended my Spring Preview event:)
Is it possible to be extremely grateful and extremely overwhelmed at the same time? Well, yes it is….I am so thankful for all these amazing opportunity to be shopping for clients with less than FIVE days until Xmas…but I am so freaking overwhelmed to get it all done and still have everything wrapped and ready to go for my OWN loved ones. My rational self knows I will get it all done….but my emotional self is all over the damn place.
I shot these down by the train tracks again with the lovely Amy of Adalie Scott Photography….these might be some of my favorite shots EVER on the blog! I have been sporting these red heels like no other lately..don’t pretend like you didn’t notice. I am not ashamed. They are just the perfect compliment to all the classic black and white I wear. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and Happy Wednesday:)
As many of you know, I hosted an intimate shopping event last week in partnership with Neiman Marcus Last Call at Bergen Town Center. I was so appreciative of the opportunity and to spend some one on one time with my favorite Northern New Jersey clientele. Many of them are The Box Service clients…so shopping together was a hoot! Clothing was bouncing from room to room…person to person….fashionable chaos…and I LOVE IT! There was zero lack of fabulous things…and I picked up a few items for myself…like those killer Ash Moto Boots you keep seeing on Instagram. Hope you enjoy a sneak peak from the event and hopefully you can join me at the next gig! Have an awesome weekend….barring snow, we have a fun night out in NYC ahead…debuting my black pantsuit!!! Can’t wait:)
If you read along, you know I love a great high end shoe. Usually purchased as gifts by my incredible husband, I am the proud owner of many a designers including Christian Louboutin, Christian Dior, Jimmy Choo…well you get the point. Most of these shoes cost upwards of 700 dollars…which when you think about it…really think about it…it is crazy!
I was introduced to Brian Atwood a few seasons ago when they made it to a blog Christmas list and my husband surprised me with them here. They fast became my favs…not only because they are a killer shoe but the comfort was unsurpassed in a platform heel. I didn’t need to rip them off my crippled toes at the end of the night….WOW! I was destined to be a Brian Atwood fan for life.
Fast forward another season. I am on the prowl for a great red heel. I had heard of this B Brian Atwood brand…an extension of his beautiful shoes…but pricing was about half. I loved the style, design and of course the $325 pricetag….so they became mine. I have worn them about 5/6 times now, one of which was out in NYC until all hours of the night….and I can say…they were SO comfortable. I have received countless compliments as well.
Style Tip: B by Brian Atwood shoes are just as fabulous as Brian Atwoods (or any designer shoe for that matter) so if you are in the market….I highly recommend them. Plus, it leaves a few dollars for that jacket you are swooning over:)
Available here for $325 and also available in nude, black and (I own these) red.
Yesterday was my 34th birthday and I had an awesome night in NYC on Monday with some great friends. It was completely impromptu which made it even more fabulous and fun! We went to the restaurant Catch in the Meatpacking district and it was beyond…like so freaking delicious! We sat at the table next to Jamie Foxx…see my girlfriend below…I was too embarrassed to ask for a pic…what is that about? Anyway…. Thank you to everyone for all the sweet birthday messages via email, text, instagram and facebook…made this old lady feel SPECIAL!
Please forgive the crappy photoshoot….I really really try to just ENJOY my time with friends…being truly present and in the moment…so I only have a few instagram shots and grainy photos from my phone. I loved my outfit SO very much…thank you RD Style for all the goodies…got quite a few compliments…so I thought I would share how to “get the look”! Hope you find some outfit inspiration and Happy Wednesday!

I like creating outfits that are stylish, comfortable and easy to recreate for all of you reading along. I would venture to guess that most of you have jeans, white tanks and a blazer, so I thought it would be helpful to add on accessories for both day and night….giving you outfit ideas for the most simple items in your closet. As you might remember from this post, Kohls gifted me a few great item style up this fall! This LC Lauren Conrad Boyfriend Blazer will be getting a ton of wear in the coming months. It is so easy to style and I love the fit! Totally worth the $49.99 pricetag:)The rest is a mix of new and old accessories….see why I am always telling you accessories are KEY?
