I adore treating a dress like a jumper and have featured the look numerous times on the blog. It is fun way to make your dresses a bit more wearable and I am hopefully showcasing what a necessity the white collared shirt is to have in your wardrobe. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and enjoy the weekend:)

I often address this on the blog…..as a stay at home mom MOST days, I don’t really have a need to “dress up” on the regular. I refuse to let that mean yoga pants and workout tanks. Today I have a ton of errands to run…grocery store, dry cleaners, the dreaded dental appointment….BUT I still wanted to look chic running around town. I find scarves and jewelry to be the easiest way to dress up the simplest of outfits- Ivory shirt and jeans…boring…add in colorful headscarf and statement necklace..and suddenly you feel great in what you are wearing. Let’s face it…that is what it is all about- Feeling great- no matter what the day has in store!
Shirt Nicole Miller, Headscarf Pucci, Necklace Marilyn Schiff, Earrings Stella and Dot, Jeans Riley (repurposed Levi’s) Wedges Toms
I have a pair of TOMS flats and love them so much, I recently purchased these wedges. They go with everything, are very comfortable and it makes me feel good knowing every time I buy a pair, a child in need
gets a pair too!
If you follow along with the blog, you know I love vintage and vintage inspired jewelry- Worship this necklace that I just purchased at J Karma Boutique when I visited Philly last week. Very reasonably priced at $48.00
