As many of you know, I hosted an intimate shopping event last week in partnership with Neiman Marcus Last Call at Bergen Town Center. I was so appreciative of the opportunity and to spend some one on one time with my favorite Northern New Jersey clientele. Many of them are The Box Service clients…so shopping together was a hoot! Clothing was bouncing from room to room…person to person….fashionable chaos…and I LOVE IT! There was zero lack of fabulous things…and I picked up a few items for myself…like those killer Ash Moto Boots you keep seeing on Instagram. Hope you enjoy a sneak peak from the event and hopefully you can join me at the next gig! Have an awesome weekend….barring snow, we have a fun night out in NYC ahead…debuting my black pantsuit!!! Can’t wait:)
Some of you may have seen the invitation on my Facebook Page.…but I wanted to dedicate an entire post to the event. I just had a meeting the beautiful Iwona, the manager of the Bergen Last Call Studio and couldn’t be more excited about this event. Chatting away about all the plans we realized we knew a few mutual people and BOTH worked at Neiman Marcus Short Hills! Small world, no?
As an avid shopper of Neimans and Neimans Last Call this partnership is so natural and I felt right at home shopping the discounted designer goodies. I am making it a family affair and my lovely sisters are going to be informally modeling styled looks put together by moi, there will be delicious bites, wine for tasting, mini makeovers, great people, great energy and most importantly great FASHIONS! The personal shopper in me can’t resist…so there will be an entire section of the store dedicated specifically to what I think you might need in your life-if you have RSVP’d there will be something chosen for you, by me! I also plan to highlight some great giftgiving options for the upcoming holiday season!
I have been on the prowl for an amazing shoe (as if I don’t have any) for a few events I have coming up….fur open toed booties by Charles Jourdan? Originally 389 down to 219 and then an additional 30 percent off? Yes, yes yes! You shall see those soon enough…for now…the details of the event and some eye candy including my favorite steals are below! Truly hope to see you there…..
* PLEASE RSVP to my email firstname.lastname@example.org if I don’t already know that you are coming!
A little over a year and half ago I was the guest speaker at a “Girls Lunch Out” event in Red Bank sharing my style tips and business model. I took away a few clients and some great new relationships with fellow Jersey Shore bloggers. A few weeks later I get an email from Meridian Health, the largest health system in New Jersey. They were looking to add a fashion and style component to their Meridian Momtourage site, a community where moms could turn for conversation, health tips, fitness, vacation ideas, and potentially some style. Two of the ladies I had met at the Red Bank event were also part of this “team” and recommended me. With a growing business and two adorable kiddies, I can’t say yes to everything, but this seemed like such a unique community and having delivered both my children at a “Meridian” hospital, I was compelled to say yes! I have been blogging away (latest here) and have attended some really great events like the “Red Dress Event” supporting heart health but my jaw almost dropped to the floor when I got the email that Meridian was hosting Giuliana and Bill and the momtourage team would have the chance to interview them! If you follow on Instagram you saw alot of pictures from that evening already, but I have to share them again…because….it is Giuliana and Bill people!!!!
They hosted an evening called “The Little Things” which was part of the month long celebration of breast cancer awareness and research entitled “Paint the Town Pink”, the brainchild of Meridian Health. For the main event they shared with a large audience their difficult journey through infertility, breast cancer and then the amazing joy of beating cancer and having their beautiful son, Duke (who by the way was born on the same day as my Preston). The message I took away is that anyone can choose to be positive, no matter what difficult card you are dealt. In this case, sharing her story publicly and using her platform to motivate women to get mammograms (have you gotten yours yet?) would ultimately help her heal emotionally. She described Bill as “Superman” and it does sound like his love and support during this time was probably one of the determining factors in her getting well. If you were ever questioning, I can confirm, they ARE an inspirational couple. Before the main event, in a small room next to the Algonquin Arts Theatre in Manasquan myself, along with ten other press individuals, were able to meet with them, ask some questions and take photos. They couldn’t have been more down to earth and genuine. Most asked “health” related questions about what Giuliana and Bill have been through so I felt a little funny asking about fashion, but that is what I am always focused on and her collection with HSN G by Giuliana Rancic is relatively new, so it seemed like the perfect topic.
Bill: Burberry Suit, Pink Shirt Giuliana: Haute Hippie Blazer, JBrand Skinnies, Valentino Shoes
Me: What are your mom and dad uniforms when you know you are going to be with Duke all day?
G: Leggings (from her HSN line), Exhilaration thermals from Target and a layering vest.
B: Nike Sweats
* I, of course, was supposed to only ask one question, but had to tell her I adored a particular piece from her line, the Ikat Maxi and she excitedly starting talking about it, mentioning that Bill thought she looked like a hippie in it (something my hubs would say too) and she also shared that it can be worn as a tube dress if you pull it all the way up. It was more than apparent she has a passion for the line and I truly hope it is successful. I am planning to add the Ikat maxi below to my wardrobe, the colors are just so vivid! A few other favorites are this white blazer and this pink ponte dress. Happy Shopping!
Ikat Maxi (can also be worn as tube dress) affordably priced at 79.90 and available here

Last Saturday I had the immense pleasure of serving up some style to over 50 area women at Gaetano’s in Red Bank, New Jersey for Girls Lunch Out. The afternoon was filled with amazing brand introductions, serious social networking, a delightfully delicious lunch, wonderful wine (that I couldn’t have, boo) and of course…STYLE! My focus (considering my audience) was what to wear to social media events and then with the simple change of accessories….taking it into the evening. I had three models decked out in clothing from one of my favorite boutiques Katherine’s in Manasquan. Take a peak at the fashions below:)
What I Wore:
Blazer (unknown boutique brand), Dress Nicole Miller, Necklace Stella and Dot, Bag Marc Jacobs
The models were easily transitioned from day (left) to evening (right) by ditching their blazers/cardigan, trading out day bags for clutches, popping on a different necklace or waist cinching belt and of course changing out wedges for Louboutins! These ladies were ready for whatever the day/evening had in store:) Hope you find some outfit inspiration and thank you to all who attended…it was such a lovely afternoon!
I really love the excitement and energy of a live fashion show and had a BLAST producing this particular one at Trump Golf Club. The show served as the entertainment for Gill St. Bernards annual fundraiser and with over 275 women in attendance, the pressure was ON for me style an amazing show. One of the best aspects of the entire project was instead of hiring professional models, I used senior students mothers and staff from the school. It was an absolute pleasure styling these beautiful and dynamic women. Hope you enjoy the behind the scenes photos….A special thank you to my hair and makeup team, favorite DJ who kills it every time and everyone (Eleanor that means you) who helped make the show a smashing success:) Off to virtually visit my blogging buddies, who I have missed so very much.
So calm and peaceful before the show….isn’t the space beautiful?
Tank Nicole Miller, Chambray Shirt Old Navy, Skirt Gentle Fawn, Belt Vintage, Boots Jeffrey Campbell, Earrings Lolas
Beautiful models…moms and staff from Gill St Bernards right before the show started. The looks were a mix of everyday casual to cocktail attire. Truly something for everyone to enjoy!
Many of you know, I emceed the SAVA Fashion Show last Thursday for Philadelphia’s version of Fashion Week, The Philadelphia Collection 2011. It was my absolute pleasure to do so, as I adore the designer, the brand and the clothing. While NYFW was busy showcasing Spring Collections that can’t be worn or purchased for 6 months, SAVA filled the runway with fall merchandise in stores allowing us to literally go from “Runway to Rack”. My main focus was to introduce the show….so forgive the “not so great” photos…Just a little sneak peak. Don’t forget to visit The Philadelphia Collection on twitter for the rest of THIS weeks fashion events. Enjoy.
DJ accompanied with a Violinist…it was a really unique partnership and sounded amazing.

Last night I attended the Philadelphia Style Cover Party hosted at The Palm. This event kicked off The Philadelphia Collection 2011 and the series of fashion happenings in and around the great city of Philadelphia from September 12th through the 24th. With the guest of honor being world renowned fashion designer Nicole Miller, this event was NOT going to disappoint. If you follow along with me, you know she is hands down my favorite designer. I especially wanted to chat her up about how amazing her upcoming Spring Collection looked. Click here to check it out. Hope you enjoy my snapshots from the event….I was having TOO good of a time and wasn’t focused on photos, so not my best work, I apologize. Truly a wonderful evening filled with old friends and clients…and what is a party without some bubbly? Which I had far too much of, by the way. All for now.

Thursday evening, the rain stopped and the sun peaked through the clouds…THANK GOODNESS! I hosted and welcomed about 20 of my top clients (and met some new ones) for a fun night of champagne and shopping. I was nervous the torrential rain would keep guests away but it held off for the entire event and we had a fabulous time. SAVA is fast becoming one of my favorite brands. I have told their story before here if you want to learn more about why I love them. The clothing is so classic and beautiful- true investment pieces that will last you from season to season. Some of the best sellers of the night were this dress and this top. Hope you enjoy the little sneak peak into the event!

Posing with some favorite and satisfied clients!
On Monday, I had the unique opportunity to preview a collection of faux fur designed by none other than the incredibly talented designer to the stars, Naeem Khan. If you aren’t familiar- I am not sure the rock under which you reside, but check out his site to learn more about his unbelievable design creations. Unattainable by most, his price points are in the thousands of dollars per dress……the very reason he launched TIMELESS available at HSN. With price points all under 500 dollars, the modern chic woman can get a bit of his luxurious design aesthetic at a fraction of the price! The faux’s I am about to show you are INCREDIBLE. They are available come November on HSN and range in price from $399 for vests to $999 for full length coats. The hand was so soft, obviously of superb quality…. I think I overheard that it is woven instead of the typical knit. Hope you enjoy my sneak peak and I will be SURE to let you know when the items are available online. Happy Shopping!
Beautiful coats, Beautiful gowns, glass of bubbly…..does a night get any better than that? Apparently it does…. there were miniature cheeseburgers too!
I become very serious when it comes to fashion….checking out all the coats, deciding which should be mine?
How amazing is this full length multicolored coat? It came short also….I am torturing myself. What are your thoughts? Shall I go full length or short?
My dear friend Jenny and I- She put this amazing preview together- Isn’t she lovely?
Totally random- Had to share….this is the chandelier from the bathroom! Yes folks, the bathroom. It was more luxurious than one could even capture in a photo….and the tile….absolutely unbelievable!
Have a great week!
I visited the SAVA boutique a few days ago to firm up some details and familiarize myself with the fall merchandise. The collections are beautiful and I simply can’t wait for this event! If you are in the greater Philadelphia area, I hope you will join me for a fun evening. I have featured this brand many times before like here and here and they even gifted this dress in a giveaway! I am smitten to put it mildly…the clothing is amazing but beyond that…..the brand is all about being socially conscious as every garment is produced in the US, more specifically in Philadelphia- creating jobs in the very community it retails in. Below are some photos of the boutique at 17th and Sansom…..See something you like but can’t make the event? Visit their their online boutique here. Happy Shopping!
One of my “college 8” (eight of us that remained best friends since college) had her baby shower this past weekend. She hails from West Virginia, so we all decided to come in a day early and spend the entire weekend together. It is ALWAYS amazing to see this group of beautiful women. The time we spend together is filled with inside jokes, constant laughter and a whole lot of love (wine too- although half of the crew is preggers right now). I could talk about these ladies for days..so…before I get too off topic….
The honoree and gorgeous mother to be, Greer asked me to help her find a shower look for the special day. So a few weeks back, I shipped her a box filled with pretty dresses and accessories to match. She chose this stunning RYU rosette dress featured below. To say she was “glowing” is an understatement- an undeniable beauty- making her look good was my easiest job yet! Hope you find some outfit inspiration and enjoy the weekend picture book:)
Dress RYU , Earrings Handmade by local artist, Shoes Rocket Dog via DSW
I had these earrings handmade by the owner of D Monaco Boutique in Point Pleasant as a gift for Greer once she decided on the dress- the stone was a mix between purple and pink and accented the dress really nicely.
I thought she picked a great shower dress- super feminine and perfect for welcoming a little GIRL:)
Some candid shots from the weekend in West Virginia!
