I hope all you mamas had a wonderful Mothers Day. Mine was just as I wished it be….relaxing! As many of you know I had a “boutique tour” in Maryland. Friday night, I had a smaller event with five of my The Box Service clients and then Saturday my dearest friend and FIRST client hosted an all day open house. I brought my favorite boutique finds and set up Stella and Dot. We all shopped til we dropped- First thing Sunday I packed up and traveled home. I am exhausted but it was a wonderful weekend:)
It is #MondayMingle time….with my lovely and stylish friends Kristin of BonBon Rose Girls and Nicole of Momtrends. I am keeping it classic in stripes. When my style is simple, I always like to add in some interesting elements. In this case, distressed skinnies and pops of orange. How do you keep your classics fresh and modern?
I hope you will join in the fashion fun by linking up below and be sure to pop by and visit Kristin and Nicole🙂

If you read often you know, my favorite kind of style is simple and classic. I keep it interesting and up to date with fun trendy accessories. With this particular outfit, the accents stole the show…..leopard heels, fun studded belt and of course, all of my Stella and Dot baubles. I have many clients who are afraid to accessorize…finding it overwhelming and too much fuss. I always beg them to give it a try….usually pushing the face framers, like a great scarf or necklace. It is amazing what some color around your beautiful face can do!
This look is featured as part of the #MondayMingle collaboration with the lovelies Kristin of BonBon Rose Girls and Nicole of Momtrends. It’s #MondayMingle time…the stylish collaboration between myself, BonBon Rose Girls and Momtrends. I am happy to be hosting this week to show off my favorite new denim for Spring…WHITE SKINNIES! I was due for a new pair…my priors had to be tossed…too many stains to salvage. I have been waiting for these Level 99’s to arrive for weeks at a local boutique and although I had grown quite impatient…..they were most definitely worth the wait! I love the distressed knees and skinny fit. Honestly, I haven’t met a pair of Level 99’s I don’t love. They are my bestselling denim line from The Box Service, as well as my Roll in The Rack appointments.
I hope you all had a great holiday weekend. I can’t wait to see what stylish posts you are linking up and promise to pop by and say “hi” to all of you at some point this week:) Be sure to swing by and visit Kristin and Nicole🙂 Make it a great week!
I have been talking about adding a tuxedo styled blazer into my wardrobe for months….and just never found the right one. I wanted quality so it could remain for a few seasons, but I didn’t want to spend a small fortune. When this Aryn K piece arrived last week to the stores I work with….I immediately snatched one up for myself…and then added it to two of my The Box Service clients. At $105 it was the perfect price point and Aryn K is a favorite boutique brand of mine. Win, win and win! Hope they love it as much as I do. This will be a repeat offender here on the blog this Spring! Have a fantastic Monday:)
* A great big thank you to all the friends family and clients who attended my Spring Preview event:)
It’s #MondayMingle time…the stylish collaboration between myself, BonBon Rose Girls and Momtrends. Happy to be hosting this week styled in my favorite boyfriend jeans and what will most definitely be my new favorite sweater and sandals for Spring.
I am elated to be featuring a new brand on the blog today, Krimson Klover. How gorgeous is this lightweight peekaboo sweater? The brand rep “surprised me” with the color and although it is a color I probably never would have chosen for myself, I LOVE it. Really brightened up the rather dreary weekend. This sweater is really versatile, adding a bit of edginess by wearing just a bandeau bra, killer heels and a leather cap….but I also picture this with a white tank, white jeans and nude ballet flats for a way more classic vibe. A requirement for my wardrobe is that items must be able to work in different ways, and this sweater most definitely fits the bill. You like? If so…YOU CAN WIN ONE BELOW…in your size and color of choice! Don’t forget to enter below and then of course, don’t forget to pop by and visit my stylish friends Kristin and Nicole🙂 Happy Monday.
I am highlighting a favorite trend for Spring….THE MOTO JACKET! How great is this Blu Pepper one compliments of PB&J Boutique? I love the color for Spring and the possibilities are limitless. Off the top of my head…paired over sweet spring dresses (like below), with skinny jeans and a solid tee for an uber casual vibe and how about over an all black look with leopard accents? Yes, yes, yes! I work regularly with the brand Blu Pepper for The Box Service and you will love the touch and feel of this faux leather jacket. A few other favorites from the boutique…here, here and here!
Hope you find some outfit inspiration….hoping my spring inspired look brings spring inspired weather…a girl can dream:)
#MondayMingle time again. Happy to be hosting this week and showing off my favorite skirt from PiperStreet. I wore the skirt like this for my styling session with Grace Initiatives and then again the next day as shown below. I rarely wear the same thing the very next day…but something about the easy fit, stripes and comfort had me reaching for it again.

If you live in the northeast…you have GOT to be wishing for warm weather…We just got 5 more inches of snow last night! Ugh. As much as I love my cozy sweaters, leather and layers…I just want to be in a flowing floral dress and gladiator sandals. We hit happy hour Friday night and this is what I wore. A denim shirt, leather leggings and cardi are not all that inventive…but I DID try to channel warmer weather with fun pops of Spring. My mint clutch, bright colored bracelets and pink lips seemed to help a bit…and maybe the cocktails did too?
It is #MondayMingle time ladies…I hope you will show myself, Kristin of BonBon Rose Girls and Nicole of Momtrends what YOU have been wearing lately. The link is being hosted by Kristin today here….pop by and join in the fun! Hope you are fashionably inspired and make it a GREAT WEEK!
In looking through the past few months post…I noticed a theme of all black. Ironically there was a time, I would have never styled an all black look….thinking it was too dark and non-matching. Now, when I am pressed for time it is the first thing I gravitate towards, knowing it is chic and uncomplicated. The style tip for today is adding in something interesting in the way of your accessories. For example, a pop of red with a lip and shoe, a camo cap, bright colored bag, or something as simple as a fabulous gold cuff. Keeping it simple but still making it your own.
How about you? Do you rock the all black trend? If not, maybe I have nudged you a little closer to trying it out!

I love being close to downtown Point Pleasant….actually I think it is the only thing that has saved me after my abrupt move from Center City Philly to the quiet and peace of seaside living. Awesome boutiques and retail shops, delicious restaurants, great energy…I am so thankful to only live five quick minutes away. If you are ever in the Jersey Shore area…definitely add it to your list, not a town to miss.
I hosted a little blogger meetup Friday night at Lola’s Boutique. I wore my new Lysse leggings…kind of obsessed with this brand since discovering them here. They were so kind to send me a few pairs from their Spring line…don’t you love the lace details? I kept it simple with a tunic, trusted leather vest and spiced it up with red and leopard. What do you think?

Some exciting news here on TSF….I am joining the fabulous ladies Nicole of Momtrends and Kristin of Bon Bon Rose Girls for the weekly style meet up, #MondayMingle. I am elated to have been asked to join their fashionable crew…bringing you a weekly dose of my style served up every Monday morning. I am highlighting a really amazing brand today. Have you heard of MM Lafleur? I love a brand that solves a problem…and M.M. Lafluer does just that. If you are a working woman, you MUST be tired of seeing and/or buying the same dark suit over and over again. Or maybe (a good amount of clients tell me about this) you walk into a meeting and see another women wearing the same Banana Republic dress? If you are nodding your head yes…then you must get to know M.M. Lafleur, learn about their story here. I can assure you the quality is impeccable, the fit is like tailored perfection and although the price tag is a little on the higher side the pieces are so versatile, classic and quality…they will justify the price tag in no time. They are filling this void, solving the problem of not being able to find high fashion beautiful but appropriate office wear. I don’t report to an office…but for the days I need to be more formal I will absolutely be turning to this brand. I can also think of fifty other ways to style this dress…but before I do that…how about I share the first way I have styled it. Hope you find some outfit inspiration and make it a great week:)
* and yes, you are seeing clearly..the dress has POCKETS!
