RD Stylin!

Saturday, My hubby and I met a few couples out on the town at one of our favorite spots, Avenue in Long Branch. It was a great time catching up with some of our closest friends. Dressed (what I consider) casual chic. I picked up these fabulous silky cargos at Lola’s by RD Style. Loving this brand for affordable and fashionable wear. Happy Shopping!

SA VA…Locally Made…Globally Inspired

As I state in my mission…….I love discovering new and interesting designers……that is why I am so excited to tell my readers about this brand. For those in Philadelphia- you must go visit the SA VA store on 17th and Sansom, for those not in Philadelphia- you must shop online at SA VA online. This brand is amazing! Not only is the design interesting, beautiful and fashionable….EVERYTHING is sourced, produced and made in the USA and even better most of the collection is made in my favorite city, Philadelphia. It is more than admirable to keep your fabrics “made in the USA” when so many other retailers are producing in China and India. Keeping your production in the city you retail in…creating jobs within and supporting your own community…..genius!
When my dearest intern at Nicole Miller from a few years back reached out to me to tell me about this brand she is working for…..she sounded so proud…I just had to take a look.  I was immediately smitten.  I said, send me a box and I will feature on the blog….Here we are… The jeans and blazer are both SA VA….I loved the jeans, but didn’t NEED another pair in my life…BUT IMMEDIATELY PURCHASED THE BLAZER. It was love at first wear, and it is now the proud owner of a hanger in my closet!  Yippee!

Now on to the clothes……

Chocolate Brown Blazer SA VA, White TShirt Gap, Scarf The Spot (available for purchase please inquire),Skinny Jeans SA VA
Shoes Stuart Weitzman

Loving the wash/color on these jeans. I think they fit great- Very comfortable with just the right amount of stretch. Retailing for $200 they are part of the SA VA Honest Denim Line- Cotton grown and milled in the USA and made locally in Philadelphia.

Lauren Jacket retails for $398.00 and worth every penny AND as you can tell from my face, I am VERY serious about this blazer. Draping is beautiful, silk is soft, smooth brass buttons, fully lined, like butter on the skin. Look at that pocket details….I LOVE THIS BLAZER!

Happy Shopping!

Comfortable as a Cloud!

Hi all. Hubby and I are heading out…dropping Connor with my parents and going to shop til we drop for the lil man. Hitting ToysRus, Baby Gap, Janie and Jack and all the usual suspects. Also going to grab an early dinner. I wanted to be comfortable (and chic) so I immediately grabbed my Tempo Paris Ivory Sweatercoat. I heart this sweater and literally feel like I am wrapped up in a cloud when I wear it. The rest of the pieces are a closet dive. Hope you find some inspiration!

Hi all,
Sorry I haven’t posted all weekend. We had a lot of family Halloween festivities to attend so it was a busy busy weekend. Don’t worry, you won’t see any Halloween posts from me…not only is it my LEAST favorite celebration…I particularly hate when people try to make Halloween costumes fashionable…ummm…NO!  Sorry for the bitch session, I just really don’t care for Halloween.
Wanted to share my Saturday afternoon “look”. Perfect marriage of fashionable and comfortable. Also a great mix of high end, low end. Hope you find some inspiration and enjoy!

Sweater Old Navy, Blouse Nicole Miller, Black Skinny Jeans Noblita, Shoes Ferragamo

Louis Vuitton Handbag and scarf. I think it can be fun to dress up your favorite handbag with a beautiful scarf!

Earrings and ring Sunshine Daydreams. Doesn’t the turquoise just “pop” with the green? Loved these colors together.

Sweatercoat = Obsessed

Purchased this Tempo sweater coat from “the Spot” for only $98.00! It is so gorgeous and is the perfect thing to be wearing right NOW. It is not cold enough for coats yet, but still cool enough that you need something to cover up with- Why not do it in style. For some reason my favorite cardigans just seem stale. I am so excited about this addition to my wardrobe and happy to share it with all of you. Hubby, Connor and I went to the boardwalk for a nice long walk (I was wearing flats for the walking part) and then stopped off for some photos. What a glorious day. Enjoy!

My little man!

Really hard to get him to smile on “cue”….far more interested in the sand then taking pictures with his mama!

Major Closet Dive

A day filled with running errands and popping in on a few friends so I wanted to be comfortable but cute. This outfit came together really easily….one of my favorite shirt dresses, with one of my favorite sweaters over top. No new purchases for this post. Felt preppy, but it felt good so I went with it. Hope you are inspired…Enjoy!

Shirtdress, Quicksilver- Sweater, Banana Republic – Belt, Nicole Miller

One of my favorite gifts from my husband. When I got promoted at work, he surprised me with this Louis Vuitton bag. It is an amazing piece and is a great briefcase, travel bag and handbag. I have never seen anyone else carrying it…which makes it extra special to me!

These Frye boots were purchased from Bloomingdales over 5 years ago. They look better today then they did when I bought them- And they are SO comfortable- must be something about the stacked heel….who knows but they are the BEST boots and I am thankful I own them 🙂

School Girl Chic

I went closet diving for this post. The outfit is an even split of old and new. My favorite item is the skirt…I always feel like I should throw my hair in pigtails and skip down the sidewalk when I wear it. Obviously I am not going to do that…but I do love how this skirt makes me feel. It should be all about feeling great in what you wear. I think the trick to wearing a youthful piece of clothing is making sure the other items you are wearing with it are classic. Really liked how this outfit came together and thought I would share.

Old pieces from my closet:
Skirt Nicole Miller, Sweater Nicole Miller, Hat H&M

New pieces I purchased this season:
White Shirt Limited, Boots Jeffrey Campbell, Belt Target

Seriously does Frye make a bad boot?

Wanted to share my birthday gift from all my favorite girls at Nicole Miller….the fabulous and funky frye boots featured below! Oh how I love these shoes! I got them Friday and simply couldn’t wait and wore them Saturday. Hubby, Connor and I went to the Italian festival on the boardwalk (weather was gorgeous) and this is what I wore. Enjoy the pics and Happy Shopping!
