Back to School: Morgan & Milo

If you follow on IG, you have seen me tag Morgan & Milo countless times in the boys #toddlerstyle posts.  Truly they are my favorite shoe brand for my little men.  When I realized they were branching out into clothing…I was SO excited!

I love when fashion and function meet.  Morgan and Milo successfully combine both with their line.  I personally love that the sneakers can be worn casually for the park or school but they also dress up with a nice pair of chinos for church or holiday events.  When your littles grow out of shoes so quickly, its nice to see a pair that can work double  The clothing is all I expected it to be….a mix of fashion and function.  I was so smitten with the plaid shirt featured below, I kind of wanted it for myself!  Ha!  Although my boys are sporting goodies for the guys, their little girls collection is BEYOND.  What about THESE (biased due to the name) or THIS?  I die.

Preston is turning two TODAY no “back to school” for him…yet!  Connor starts pre-k next week.  I asked him what he wanted to wear for the first day and he picked out this Monster t-shirt on his own!  I don’t blame’s adorable:)  Don’t forget to ENTER THE GIVEAWAY below, as Morgan and Milo is so kindly gifting an adorable tee to ONE OF YOUR littles.  Good Luck!

Monday Mingle: Grey Skies and Silver Linings

I hope all of you had a great weekend.  We celebrated my neice’s 7th birthday.  The weather was surprisingly chilly here at the Jersey Shore.  I actually wore a jacket over this look come sundown.  Although, I am SO ready for fall…maybe not until September 1st.  Give us another week or so weather gods, ok?  Thanks!

This outfit is super simple but I adore my accessories:) I received these sweet Linge ballet flats in the mail last week and couldn’t wait for the first opportunity to wear them.  I have declared grey my “it” color for fall, and have been window shopping ever since.   The sunglasses….sporting them NON stop…the color is a greyish purple and although its an odd, it seems to be working with everything.   SmartBuyGlasses have an amazing selection and I am excited to cruise the site for my next stylish pair.  Remember when I posted my Breakfast at Tiffany’s event to Instagram here…well, I purchased this super delicate arrow necklace/bracelet set and am smitten.  Typically not a silver girl, I thought this set would layer beautifully with many of my existing pieces and of course, grey.  As I always say…simple style is my favorite…. then I let the accessories do the talking:)

Welcome to #MondayMingle, the stylish collaboration between myself, BonBon Rose Girls and Momtrends.  I am hosting this week so please join in the link below.  Make it a GREAT WEEK:)

Transition to Fall: Pulleez

I had two reader comments this week…one asking how to style white jeans for early fall…and then ironically someone else commented on an old outfit photo asking how to style her cowboy boots. I swear, I was already planning this post! Talk about meant to be?  So this is a two-for-one right here.  I love simple style and a distressed denim button down paired my favorite white skinnies, is just perfection.  Making it feel a bit more fall inspired, I ditched sandals and went for my favorite Frye cowboy boots.

Must make mention of my fabulous hair candy.  Have you ever heard of Pulleez?  I recently became social media buddies with the creator….last week she asked me to shoot some pictures potentially do grace the main page of her website…more to come on that…BUT…seriously, how adorable are the little boot charms?  I would hardly say I am a western girl…BUT…I do love little influences here and there with my accessories.  Aside from being super cute….these hair ties leave NO mark on your precious locks..which is so great for someone like me, who takes her hair up and down throughout the day.

Hope you find some outfit inspiration and have a LOVELY WEEKEND:)

Black and White Transition

There is nothing better than an easy fitting shift dress.  Truly the perfect transition to fall piece.  Wear it now, as I have shown below with a colorful necklace and your favorite sandals…then September with a denim jacket and maybe some cool kicks…then again dead of winter with black tights and tall black boots!  Seriously, when can a 25 dollar dress do all that for you?  Available over on SusieRaine – but I know it will sell out quickly so hurry on over:)  Happy Shopping!

Denim and Tulle

I realize this is a slight variation of my last outfit post from Monday:)  What can I say….I just have black and denim on the brain.  Truth is, it is an easy effortless combination and leaves an awesome blank slate for fun colorful accessories.  I plan to wear this to a babyshower on Saturday…modeling it a day early because I have no one around that morning to take photos!  Think I am going to wear it exactly like this…although maybe I will skip the ponytail, and I definitely need a pedicure:) Yikes.

Denim shirt is compliments of SusieRaine and available for purchase here.  LOVE the slight western influence and distressed vibe.  Fit is fabulous- I am wearing a medium.  Killer price over on the site today- $17!  Get em while they last….I know it will sell out!  Happy Shopping and hope you have an amazing weekend:)

Easy Summer: SusieRaine

I am, obviously a huge fan of simple easy to wear style…especially in the hot summer months like August. Comfort is king with this particular look featured below….yet I didn’t have to sacrifice style…and I definitely am budget friendly!  This shirt and short combo can be yours for just $30!  What I love most, is I can easily pair this top with white jeans, denim skinnies or even printed pants for fall.  The shorts would be adorable with a solid colored tank/tee and a blazer come the cooler weather.  If I am feeling a little edgy, the shorts might even be cute with tights and boots!  Ah, the possibilities.

A big sincere THANK YOU to the ladies of online shop SusieRaine, for gifting me this adorable look and allowing me to share this amazing DEAL with my readers.  I know sizing is limited, so hurry along now ladies:)  HAPPY SHOPPING!

*I am wearing a SMALL top and MEDIUM shorts.  The shirt runs full, and although I usually like a Medium shirt, Small fits perfectly.  On the bottom I am a 4/6- usually closer to 6 and the medium also fits me perfectly.

Charity Event Style: Fibi&Clo

I attended a charity event Monday evening at Deal Country Club to benefit Jersey Shore Medical Center Cardiovascular Services.  My husband played a round of golf and then I met up with him to enjoy a nice dinner.  I always enjoy myself at these types of events….community driven people, one on one time with my husband and all for a great cause.  Perfect!  Some of the men were still in their golfing attire and others changed into sportscoats, so I wanted to be appropriate, professional and yet embrace my personal style.  I often pick up new clients and/or connections at these types of events…. I have to be looking stylish….of course:)

These Fibi&Clo Sandals were perfect….dressy enough to pair with my favorite black dress and tuxedo blazer, but also fun and flirty enough for the more relaxed vibe.  I was gifted these sandals by the lovely Rexine a few ago and could not WAIT to wear them.  I have already done so…with distressed skinny jeans and a black tank…and then as you have seen below.  I will be sure to feature them regularly on instagram with outfit ideas, as I know they are going to be a summertime staple!

Have an AWESOME week and check out my ONLINE TRUNK SHOW with Fibi&Clo below.  HAPPY SHOPPING!!!

Casual Summer Style: Baby Cargo Giveaway!

You may remember my Baby Cargo post from a few years back HERE .  I highlighted the launch of the Georgi Bag sharing how stylish and functional it is!  Lucky for us…they have designed another functional and stylish diaper bag….so I am back highlighting the fabulous Fiona Bag (which I tore out of the packaging and wore yesterday for our boardwalk trip)

This bag is SO perfect for those shorter trips, where you don’t need changes of clothing or multiple snacks.  I fit my wallet, keys, phone, diapers, and wipes and it was perfection.  There is a perfect spot for bottles as well, I just am not in that zone any longer…as we are trying (I stress the word trying) to take the bottle away from Preston, now at 21 months.  I love the crossbody detail and honestly, it does NOT look like a diaper bag.   WATCH THE VIDEO to see all this little bag can do and then enter the giveaway below!

I have a dear friends wedding tonight….styling the most beautiful Von Vonni dress…you can follow along with the fashion on Instagram if you like.  HAPPY FRIDAY and hope you have a lovely weekend:)

PopSugar: #MustHaveBox

Well…..if you know me…you know why I said YES when PopSugar asked me to share their #MustHaveBox service here on the blog.  I mean, my entire business is based around the same idea!  Not sure what I am talking about?  Click HERE to find out all about the service.  Firstly, I have to say, it was just SO freaking nice to be the one to tear open a box of goodies.  I am usually on the other side of the package….creating boxes of style for all of you.  It was a REAL treat to be on the receiving end.  Secondly, I really loved the contents of the box.  It contained things I never would have bought for myself ….Hello?  Who reads poolside with a one and four year old?  Maybe, the book will bring the moments of silence needed to read it.  A girl can dream.

Breaking  it down:

1.  I am super excited to have an excuse to read and just escape from life for a few minutes each day.  I have heard wonderful things about this author and can’t wait to dive into The One & Only by Emily Giffin.

2.  Since I am a pool rat…and recently joined a country club, a fabulous turkish towel that can also serve as a stylish wrap is SO up my alley. I will be wrapping myself up in this tomorrow for the pool.

3.   Lemon Wet Wipes……wipes and I just go hand in hand these days….beyond that I love LEMON scent.  One of my favorites.  These are essential to throw in your handbag and go!  Great box item.

4.  I love lotions and potions almost as much as clothing and shoes…so this Sacha Juan Citrus Body Lotion is sure to become a fav.  I actually was running low on body lotion, so this came in the nick of time!  The scent is amazing and it is super smooth!!!  Love it!

5.  I wear my hair up in either a bun or ponytail most days.  I know, I know…why bother having long hair if it is always up- but truthfully that is part of the reason I keep it long- so I can put it UP!  These Lollies Hair Ties are awesome…They are made from recycled swimsuits and supposedly do not stretch out like the typical hair tie.  Where have you been all my ponytail wearing life?

6.  I probably could have lived without this addition but dammit the chips are delicious!  One Potato Two Potato.…housed those in a few seconds after receiving them…oops!

7.  Also received a Native Union giftcard for $15.  The site is super cool with unique designs and cool techie gifts…I was kind of into the iphone cases for my husband…BUT…the 15 bucks didn’t allow me to buy anything I wanted without chipping in a decent amount.  Candidly, I am not a huge fan of giftcards that require you to pitch in for something you most likely didn’t need anyway.

Interested in trying?

Well, do it now…Save TEN DOLLARS on a three month subscription..code JUNESELECT10 .  Just click HERE!

Happy Receiving:)

Fathers Day with Uncommon Goods

Have you started Fathers Day shopping?  I will admit, I have not.  Things have been so insane with work and end of year school activities, the time just seems to be flying by.  I have to get focused.  I booked a celebratory brunch at Eagle Oaks for the whole family we are eating…now I just need to find the perfect gift.  Truth is, my husband is low maintenance and when it comes to things like golf clubs or shoes, I wouldn’t even dare to try to pick something out for him.  I want something unique…something he would never get for himself.

I was asked by Uncommon Goods to review their site.   So a few weeks ago I ordered this amazing one of a kind blanket that I will be including (in the most unique way) in the boys playroom overhaul next month.   I was taken by the unique and uncommon selection of home goods, beautiful jewelry, these gorgeous items, outdoor decor, items with a personal touch...and the list goes on!  You can refine your search by recycled, handmade or made is USA.  Truly items you can feel great about purchasing.  You can also read the details of the “maker” of the product…where they graduated from, details of their design inspiration etc…..feeling connected to the product you are buying.  There isn’t one thing I do not like about this site…infact, I can’t imagine purchasing gifts for special people anywhere else moving forward! You simply must visit the site HERE.   It just seemed SO fitting for a Fathers Day feature.  Happy Shopping:)

As you know, I only share it if I love it.  I was given product for review purposes but all opinions are 100 percent mine.

I am so appreciative of all of your support with my new Stella and Dot adventure.  It has been an amazing two months….with fun-filled trunks shows, meeting dynamic new women and quite obviously, lots of beautiful baubles.  Honestly, the jewelry is SO great, I knew it would be a hit…but I am elated you love the jewelry as much as I do.  I love to give gifts, so it makes perfect sense to giveaway something Stella and Dot to my fabulous clients, readers and friends.  I chose the Frida Necklace.  It is freaking gorgeous and so perfect for summer!  Enjoy:)

I also put together a little board of all of my Trunk Show Bestsellers.  Good luck and Happy Shopping!

White Jeans Level 99 (sold out) similar here, Grey Tank C+C California (old)similar style on sale here, Black Blazer c/o Kohls (old)but surprisingly still available here, Necklace Sutton Stella and Dot available here, Sunglasses c/o available here, Shoes c/o YellowBox available here

Let me start off by saying, I bought two pairs of these distressed white jeans featured above.  I knew I would wear them a ton and I know how tricky (easily stained) white can be.  I reserve one pair for adult time and one pair for family activity.  So, before you judge for featuring them back to back (and wearing them nonstop) I wanted to share that minor detail:)

I know many clients and readers resist white denim…actually white anything.  Truth be told, it IS hard to keep whites white…and with small children, it is even harder.  I say use your smarts ladies….if you are heading to a backyard BBQ with freshly cut grass and ketchup as the main side, I would skip the white.  However, if you are heading out for a drink or to dinner with a friend, they are the perfect summertime look!

I also want to make mention of the fabulous wedges sent to me from YellowBox Shoes.  The brand is a new discovery for me….and you know when I love it, I share it!  These striped wedges are adorable and affordable.  A winning combination.  For some reason I like spending less on my summer shoe wardrobe and can definitely see myself investing in a few cute pairs from their site.  Infact, I just picked these up yesterday while out an about shopping for clients. Turns out, one of the boutiques I work with carries YellowBox shoes…even further confirmation they are a great brand!  Happy Shopping:)

Monday Mingle: SwimSuit Style and Giveaway

When I originally received the pitch from AmiClubWear and popped by their site, I was going to gratefully decline.  Firstly, as a thirty-something mom of two, I am not a regular on the club scene.  Secondly, my style, although sometimes edgy, does not consist of short skirts, bare midriffs or tight dresses.  The pitch was smart though…she took some time to go to my site (which often does not happen with press pitches) and knew I was a mom and more on the conservative side of things.  She then linked to countless swimsuits.  Smart.  They were swimsuits I would wear…many of them one piece and kid friendly.

I personally only wear inexpensive bathing suits.  I am sure there are many who would argue the latter, but I have invested in brands like Vix before..and unfortunately they didn’t hold up any better than my less expensive suits.  So why spend the extra money?  My usual suspects are Target, Old Navy and Victoria Secret. What I like about turning to a site like AmiClubWear is that they are wallet friendly but more unusual.  Same school of thought as boutique shopping….you won’t see yourself coming and going.  Some of my favorites are HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE!

For those popping in, please be kind…I am a busy mom of two who hits the gym once or twice a week….I am COMPLETELY aware that Victoria Secret will NOT be calling.  I could have easily just shown the model below in the suit, but that wouldn’t have been very real…and you know I am all about keeping it real here on TSF.  Aside from daring to bare…..

It is also #MondayMingle time!  Monday Mingle is the stylish collaboration between BonBon Rose Girls, Momtrends and myself….Nicole is hosting the linkup this week, so please pop by check out what they are wearing and share your style.  Hope everyone has a great week and remember to ENTER THE SWIMSUIT GIVEAWAY BELOW!!!

Mothers Day is fast approaching…can you believe May is just around the corner?  Whether you are shopping for your mom, sister, or friend….you want the gift to be something special, right?  How about purchasing from a “mother” owned business this year.  You will be celebrating women who do their best to juggle it all….is there a better way to honor a mother?  A few of my favorite online shops are mother owned and operated…I suppose I gravitate towards women who “welcome the crazy”.  I hope you find the roundup of my faves helpful in picking out a gift this season.  If you aren’t particularly smitten with my choices, please pop over to the sites…and discover all that these mamas have to offer.  Happy Shopping:)

THIRD STREET HABIT:  If you follow along any which way, you have seen the Philadelphia boutique Third Street Habit featured countless times.  The owner, January, mother of one with another on the way, has an incredible eye for unique clothing and accessories…labels you just won’t see everywhere.  I stop in this store EVERY time I am in Philly.  I actually just purchased a few items last week and tried on this blouse.  LOVED IT…but had to draw the line somewhere due to budget.  Boo.  My loss can be your gain:)

SUSIE RAINE:   This online shop is owned and operated by two fellow JERSEY moms!  Susan has three and Lorraine has two…so they are definitely busy moms on the go….but keeping affordable style as a top priority too:)   I personally adore her collection of scarves and have them on constant rotation for Spring.  This Americana scarf is perfect for Memorial Day weekend, no?

STELLA AND DOT:  Founder Jessica Herrin is a busy mother of two.  She creates beautiful baubles that adorn women of the world, but more than that, she empowers them to start their own businesses….giving them a way to work AND stay at home.  I have highlighted one of my favorite spring/summer necklaces.  The coral is so perfect for the warm months ahead.

Coral Cay Necklace available for purchase here $98

ZOLIE DESIGNS Larissa is also a New Jersey native and mommy….creating the most beautiful handcrafted pieces of jewelry.  I have featured her on the blog too many times to count…and love wearing her statement necklaces.  Lately, she has been creating more delicate pieces and I am particularly smitten with this St Barths bracelet.  So sweet and feminine…perfect for a lady in your life.  Layer it with other bracelets or wear on its own.

St. Barths bracelet available here $20
