Preston's Christening

I was gifted this dress a few months back from one of my favorite dress designers regularly featured on the blog,  Von Vonni.  It was so special looking, I decided to save it for a particular occasion (compelled to mention it was originally $350 and on sale for $79, link below in outfit details- runs full).  We christened Preston this past weekend and it was the perfect debut. I love turquoise and black so the earrings were a no brainer...I kept the rest of the accessories minimal.  Below I have shared a little glimpse off the church and after party...it was a beautiful day celebrating the little nugget with our closest family and friends.  Thank you to all who shared in it :)

Dress c/o Von Vonni available ON SALE here, Earrings Amrita Singh, Coat Nicole Miller, Shoes Christian Louboutin

I tried a Pinterest hairdo with minimal success.  It looked a little more special than it does on the daily, but it was harder to "actually" do than the pinner suggested.  I wish I could link, but I can't find it on any of my boards...argh!

Sleeping peacefully through most of the ceremony

Preston with his godmother is wearing a baptismal sweater set by Baby Trousseau worn by his brother a few years ago

Connor is wearing a Nautica Suit from Macy's and barely stood still long enough for me to snap this photo!

Gosh that dress is a stunner. Having found the lovely Von Vonni to you I often browse their site for new styles - I hadn't noticed this one but it is a stunner and you look fabulous in it. Perfect for the occasion too.
