East West Mama's: A Collaboration of Style

Posting consistently for almost three years definitely requires commitment and dedication, but beyond that sometimes it requires a little recharge.  So I thought long and hard about what might inspire me in 2013.......collaborating with one of my favorite bloggers just might do the trick!

It is with much pleasure that I introduce the beautiful and talented Tanya of November Grey. I was drawn to her blog (3 years ago) because she is everything I am not....an artsy super thrifter living in California. I am inspired by people who are different than me....but we are both personal stylists and retail junkies...so there was kismet.  A little secret that she doesn't even know... I wear red lipstick because of her blog....She wears it so beautifully, I decided to try it about two years ago...I wear it all the time now. So thank you Ms. Tanya for giving my lips a much needed makeover:)  A little over a year ago, we discovered that we were both pregnant (with boys) due within days of each other.  We most definitely connected and have sent countless emails of encouragement and friendship.   OK, enough of my lady crush....now to the FASHION!

Each month, Tanya and I are going to bring you a fun collaboration...sometimes a brand/sponsor highlight and other times we might shop our closets together....More fun ideas to come....This month we were both gifted the most fabulous shift dress from London Times to style each our own way.  I love that we both piled on outerwear, but in a totally different way...Hop over to Tanya's Blog to see her additional shots of the dress and style details.
