A Return To Normalcy
Yesterday I visited my 48 degree house (still no power) and grabbed some clothing for the next few days. It seemed strange to be poking around in my dark closet for a fashionable blogworthy outfit....but I also admit that I just simply needed something to return to normal...and since we can't go home yet...my wardrobe is about the ONLY thing I can control. I decided to do a little work and processed some box service clients and visited one of the boutiques I work with that has their power back. In the late afternoon, I took the boys over to my sister's to visit...they JUST got their power back and it was a nice change of scenery from my parents house. This is what I wore...I told you, you will be seeing ALOT of this Rachel Zoe leather vest. It was a total season splurge and I knew it would look great with pretty much everything in my closet. Hope you find some outfit inspiration:)

vest envy happenning over here...big time! ;)
Hope things get back to normal(ish) for you asap!!! We loose power about 15 days per year (mid west with above ground power lines) and the longest this year was 6 days when it was in the upper 90's this summer. Not to be compared AT ALL to what is happenning over by you, but point being I feel you pain on wanting power back and wanting to go home! hang in there pretty lady!! xoxo
Well, you look beautiful! Your vest is gorgeous and when you buy an investment piece, why not get as much use out of it as possible.

Love those jeans and vest, Carly! Glad you and your family are safe and sound. My family is thankfully ok as well. My mom got power back late Friday. I grew up in NJ...just off Exit 8 :) It's so hard for me to see all of the images of the shore. My thoughts are with you! xx
Just as things are starting to improve I hear on the news that there is another east coast evacuation! I hope this won't effect you. I love that vest, and also love that Rachel Zoe coat with the fur cuffs and collar! Her designs are amazing!
