Maternity Monday! Pregnant or Not
As a personal shopper, I am in and out of boutiques three days a week and sometimes I find it overwhelming deciding which trends to recommend to which clients. Each has there own personal preferences and life style, however there are some stand out items that I just keep going back to box after box, appointment after appointment. Based on my client preferences and what I wear personally, here are my TOP FIVE MUST HAVES for 2012, pregnant or not. Happy Shopping!
The Statement Necklace. I personally love turquoise and find that it goes with everything, but any colors you adore will do! This particular one retails for $75.00 and is available here. The Black Maxi Dress. Color and prints are fun too, but I am a firm believer in the black maxi dress. It is easily paired with bright accessories for a splash of color and can be worn well into fall with layers. The Maxi above retails for $149 and is available here. The White Skinny Jean. Hands down the most versatile denim for Spring/Summer, which is why it is included in every box service this Spring. They just seem to go with everything. I typically push for full length over capri, because you can wear it long and then cuff them for a different look. The ones featured above are Madewell and are available here. The Nautical Shirt. Blue and White stripes have never been more chic. Whether they are preppy, bohemian or trendy.....this is a top request with all my clients. The Fedora. I personally wear mine constantly in the summer months. Partly so I do not have to do my hair, and partly because I feel an instant boost of style. Recently I have had a few Derby hat requests with wide brims like here but it is mostly fedora's that are in demand. I love the classic one featured above but this one is super fun too!

Love all your summer staples. I have always been afraid of white jeans...stains...muscular thighs... but I think I might have to just dive in and get a pair this summer!

Im feeling slightly chuffed that I have all those pieces in my wardrobe minus the fedora, and that is not through lack of trying, my head is just too darned small and I cannot for the life of me find one to fit!
