High and Low

As you can tell from my post here I am a fan of the high to low hemline. If you are comfortable showing a bit of leg, this a great trend to try.  I feel very youthful (but appropriate) when I wear this particular hemline and am glad to see it continuing into Spring.  I embraced the over 50 degree weather today by wearing this Everly dress, a few lightweight scarves and GASP...I didn't even need a coat!  Hope you find some outfit inspiration and make it a great week!

What I love most about your style is that you always pair simple pieces with something unexpected and it works! So inspirational!

I'm loving the scrunchy socks with those boots. They add a bit of toughness to your really cute dress!!

You look fabulous. It reminds me of some kind of Swiss/Alsacian retro-modern fraulein look. Uber-cute.

I love those wonderful lace-up boots! They look perfect with the knee-high socks!

As a fellow 30 something, I love the high-low hemline as well. Mullet dress? Yes! Just the right amount of leg.

Frye boots are such a staple. Loving your lace up version!

I'm so jealous of your lack of coat weather! It's freeeeeezing here in Montreal and I've actually taken to wearing a gasp....real winter coat. Loving this silhouette on you and the boots pair perfectly with the dress.

I'm a huge fan of this silhouette, but actually the only dress I have like this is a maxi! I definitely need to look for a mini-in-the-front, knee-in-the-back dress.

Love that dress! I've been wanting to try this hem line, but I'd have to wear it with tights...not sure how it'd turn out. You look great!!

Love the print of this dress. I love it with your boots. I probably would have done tights, but I like it with the boots and socks (I need to try to embrace them).

Do you ever buy T by Alexander Wang? Given all the hemlines you've posted recently I think you'd love the stuff.... this outfit is perfectly styled. The boots and the socks and the neck tie.... I love this look on you.
