Cake Lingerie Giveaway!!

A few weeks ago I received an inquiry from an international lingerie brand, Cake Lingerie that specializes in maternity intimates.  At first I was a bit dismissive since I am not currently pregnant, but as a personal shopper, I like to be in the know with new brands and products so I clicked the link to the site.  Umm, my maternity undergarments looked NOTHING like this..towards the end I was almost exclusively wearing sports bras. Each piece of lingerie was more beautiful and sexy than the next, surely I had clicked on the wrong site?  Now I was completely intrigued and wanted to learn more.  Fast forward to an email relationship with the sweetest PR rep, Ashleigh, who had noticed maternity posts from time to time on my blog and thought my readers would enjoy an introduction to the brand.  I agreed, but didn't want to feature the brand just because the items seemed beautiful on the website.  I needed to touch and feel the craftsmanship before I could fully endorse the product on my blog.  Ashleigh, with no hesitation, so kindly offered to send me an item (bra) of my choice and also wanted to gift that same one to a lucky reader of mine. How wonderfully sweet of her.  I was still a LITTLE bit skeptical due to the fact that I am not pregnant- but I didn't want to miss an opportunity to review an amazing brand as so many of my readers are pregnant, nursing or thinking about starting families. So, here goes.... my review and all the details of how you can win this masterpiece of a bra!

I received my beautifully wrapped Coconut Ice Bra a few days later and think I actually gasped when I opened it. It is the prettiest bra I have EVER seen or touched.  Truly a work of art. I love the entire philosophy behind the brand.....empowering pregnant and breastfeeding women!  Love that.  The company was started in 2008 by a pregnant woman who simply couldn't find fashionable and sexy maternity lingerie.

I also wanted to mention that after using the online sizing chart I determined that I am a 36B NOT a 34B like I have been wearing for years. I plan to wear this bra regardless of being pregnant or not and when my second time comes around, I know exactly where I will be shopping for my bras and panties.
